Age Limit for OSSSC Recruitment 2025:

Based on the official notification of OSSSC Recruitment 2025, the candidate must have the indicated age limit as of the date of 01.01.2024.

• The minimum age limit is 21 years.
• The maximum age limit is 38 years.

Age Relaxation-

• The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/SEBC/Women category.
• The upper age limit is also relaxable by 10 years in the case of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs).
• The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in the case of Ex-Servicemen candidates. The persons in the Defence Service who have more than six months to retire or to be discharged from service as of the last date of the submission of the online application are not eligible to apply for the post. Provided that those Ex-Servicemen who have already secured regular employment under the State Government in civil posts and services would be permitted the benefit of age relaxation as admissible for Ex-Servicemen for securing another employment in any higher post or services under the State Government but such candidates shall not be eligible for the benefit of reservation, if any, for Ex-Servicemen in the State Government.
• A candidate who comes under more than one category shall be eligible for only one benefit of relaxation which shall be considered most beneficial to him/her.

Salary for OSSSC Recruitment 2025:

The candidates who are selected for OSSSC Recruitment 2025 will receive a monthly salary on a Pay Scale of Rs.35400-112400 in the pay matrix level-09, Cell-01.

OR
• The candidate should have 04 year integrated B.Sc. B.Ed. from any NCTE-recognized institution with two school subjects (school subjects as defined in the proviso hereunder) having minimum 45% marks in aggregate for SEBC/SC/ST/PwD/Sportsperson/Ex-Servicemen candidates and minimum 50% marks in aggregate for candidates other than SEBC/SC/ST/PwD/Sportsperson/Ex-Servicemen candidates. In any case, the candidates must have passed the Bachelor’s Degree with any two school subjects offered as Pass/ Honours/ Elective/ Optional/ Compulsory subject out of the following: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.
• The candidate must have passed the Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET).
