Safety Audit of factories in Maharashtra Mandatory if 50 or more workers employed
Industries, Energy, Labour and Mining Department has notified Maharashtra Factories (Safety Audit) (Amendment) Rules, 2024. vide notification under the Factories Act, 1948. Amending the Maharashtra Factories (Safety Audit) Rules, 2014, the department has notified that Safety Audit of factories in Maharashtra is mandatory if 50 or more workers are employed. Earlier this limit was 250.
