SAIL Recruitment 2022: Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has invited applications from eligible and interested professionals of Indian Nationals for the appointment to the post of Consultant (E-3), Sr. Medical Officer (E-2), and Medical Officer (E-1). There are a total of 15 vacancies available for the Posts. The qualification, experience etc., will be calculated from 14/10/2022.

The Date, Time & Venue of the Interview will be intimated to eligible / short-listed candidates through Post, Email/SMS, and the SAIL website. The advertisement along with the Application Form is available at the SAIL website www.sail.co.in at the link “Careers” or www.sailcareers.com.  The application & Processing Fee for General/OBC/EWS candidates will be Rs.700 and for SC/ST/PWD/ESM/ Departmental candidates it will be Rs.200. Medical Officer (05)

1. Consultant:

Age-Limit: From 18 to 41 years

Pay Scale and CTC: Rs.80,000–3%–2,20,000

Approximately Rs.22 Lakhs per annum (excluding PRP, location-based allowances, NPA etc.)

Qualification and Experience:

i) PG Degree or DNB in Anaesthesia / Dental (Facio-Maxillary Surgery) / Dermatology / General Surgery / O&G / Pathology /Psychiatry/ Radiology/ Pulmonary Medicine from a university / institute recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI) / National Board of Examination (NBE) / National Medical Commission (NMC) / Dental Council of India (DCI).

ii) Minimum 03 years post qualification experience in the relevant discipline after PG Degree/DNB. For Anaesthesia discipline, preference will be given to experience in Critical Care/ICU

2. Senior Medical Officer

Age-Limit: From 18 to 38 years

Pay Scale and CTC:

Rs.70,000–3%–2,00,000

Approximately Rs.19.6 Lakhs per annum (excluding PRP, location-based allowances, NPA etc.)

Qualification and Experience:

i) PG Degree or DNB in Anaesthesia / Dental (Facio-Maxillary Surgery) / Dermatology / General Surgery / O&G / Pathology /Psychiatry/ Radiology/ Pulmonary Medicine from a university / institute recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI) / National Board of Examination (NBE) / National Medical Commission (NMC) / Dental Council of India (DCI).

ii) Minimum 01 year post qualification experience in the relevant discipline after PG Degree/DNB. Preference will be given to experience in Critical Care/ICU for Anaesthesia discipline.

3. Medical Officer

Age-Limit: From 18 to 34 years

Pay Scale and CTC: Rs.50,000–3%–1,60,000 After completion of one year of service/ training, they shall be considered in E–1 grade in the Scale of Pay of Rs.60,000–3%– 1,80,000

Approximately Rs.14.7 Lakhs per annum (excluding PRP, location-based allowances, NPA etc.)

Qualification and Experience:

i) MBBS from a university/ institute recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI)/ National Medical Commission (NMC).

ii) Minimum 01 of year post qualification experience (after internship) in a recognized Medical College/ Hospital/ Institution

Mode of Selection for SAIL Recruitment 2022:

a) For the posts of Consultant (E-3) / Sr. Medical Officer (E-2), eligible candidates will be required to appear interview at Rourkela. The minimum qualifying marks in the interview will be 50% for Unreserved posts and 40% for SC/OBC (Non-creamy Layer) posts.

b) For the post of Medical Officer (E-1) selection will be done through Written Test (Computer Based Test) Interview or both. The same shall be intimated to the eligible candidate through Admit Card/Call Letter, Email/SMS, and SAIL website.

c) Date, Time & Venue of the Interview will be intimated to eligible / short-listed candidates through Post, Email/SMS, and the SAIL website.

Application & Processing Fee for SAIL Recruitment 2022:

Application & Processing Fee for General/OBC/EWS candidates – Rs.700

Processing Fee for SC/ST/PWD/ESM/ Departmental candidates – Rs.200

State Bank of India (SBI) has been authorized to collect the application fee through SB Collect on behalf of SAIL, RSP. Candidates will be required to pay the Application & Processing Fee through Net Banking / Credit / Debit Card from 07/09/2022 to 14/10/2022 (11.45 PM).
