SCI Recruitment 2023: Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the post of Law Officer on a contractual basis. As per the official notification of SCI recruitment 2023, there is only 01 vacancy for the given post. In accordance with the official notification of SCI recruitment 2023, the selected candidates for the post of Law Officer will be given a monthly salary of up to Rs. 220000. The maximum age limit to apply for the post is 63 years as per the official notification of SCI recruitment 2023.

As per the official notification of SCI recruitment 2023, the vacancy is open for the post of Law Officer. There is only 01 vacancy for the given post.
The posting is in Mumbai. However, the company at its discretion may depute the Officer at any of its offices/projects anywhere in India as per its requirement.
Tenure– The contract shall be for a period of one year from the date of engagement, with a provision for further 2 extensions of 6 months each.
In accordance with the official notification of SCI recruitment 2023, selected candidates will be given a consolidated monthly emolument of Rs. 80,000 will be paid. A conveyance cum mobile allowance of Rs 10,000 per month will also be paid for the discharge of official duty. No other perks/benefits/ allowances shall be applicable.

Candidates applying for SCI recruitment 2023 must have the given below qualifications-
Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Law or Post Graduate Degree in law from Bar Council of India recognized Colleges / Universities / Institutions with a minimum of 60% marks.
Experience– Candidates should have at least 20 years of experience in the legal cadre and should have superannuated from State/Central Government Departments, Autonomous Bodies, PSUs, PSBs, or CPSEs in a minimum IDA pay scale of E5 (Rs. 80,000 – Rs. 2,20,000) or pre-revised scale of Rs. 32,900 – Rs. 58,800, equivalent CDA pay scale / Public Sector Bank pay scale.

The Company reserves the right to shortlist the number of candidates for Interview out of eligible candidates in the ratio of 1:10. The shortlisting will be based on higher qualification, length and range of experience, Accreditations, Certifications and Special Achievements.
The Interview will be conducted at Shipping House, Nariman Point, Mumbai, through video conferencing depending upon the prevailing situation at the time of the Interview. The schedule will be notified on the Corporation’s website.
