How Does SCORE 2.0 Work?

The complaints filed on SCORE 2.0 are automatically sent to the entity, and it has to submit the ATR (Action Taken Report) within 21 days to the investors. If the investors are not satisfied with the ATR, they can request a First Level Review within 15 days. Within this period, the complaint is marked as pending, even if the company has submitted the ATR. The complaint is automatically closed if the investor doesn’t opt for a review. If the investor asks for a first-level review, the Designated Body handles the complaint and submits a new ATR. Again, the investor has 15 days to request a second-level review if still unsatisfied. If the investor is still not satisfied, SEBI itself will take up the complaint and respond. In case the investor chooses to use SEBI’s Online Dispute Resolution system, the complaint is considered closed on SCORES. Refer to the official notification for more information
