Sintercom India Limited has received a Show Cause Notice (SCN), passed by the Government of Maharashtra Department of Goods and Services Tax under Section 73 (1) of the Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax (GST) Act, 2017 (MGST Act, 2017).

The notice was received by the company on September 07, 2026, proposing the disallowance of Input Tax Credit (ITC) for the period from April 2022 to March 2023. Accordingly, an aggregate demand of Rs 2.55 crore (tax of Rs 1.34 crore; interest amounting to Rs 1.07 crore; and penalty of Rs 13.46 lakh) was raised on the company.

According to the company, presently, the notice is open for further submissions before the relevant appellate authority, and the company is planning to respond to the notice within the prescribed time limit.

The company made the aforementioned disclosure through an Intimation dated September 08, 2026, addressed to the National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) and issued under Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
