According to the official notification of Southern Railway Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit of the applicants should not exceed 42 years for the unreserved category, 45 years age limit for OBC, and for SC/ST the maximum age limit is 47 years.
As mentioned in the Official notification of Southern Railway Recruitment 2023, applicants applying for the Stenographer Gr.III (English), must have completed the 12th (+2 stage) or equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University. A shorthand speed of 80 words per minute (w.p.m) for 10 minutes with a transcription time of 50 minutes and is under the prescribed age limit is required.
