SSC CGL 2022 Tier II Result: The Staff Selection Commission will declare the SSC CGL 2022 Tier 2 result soon. As per SSC authorities, the tentative date for the SSC CGL (Combined Graduate Level) Tier 2 result is the last week of April 2023. The SSC successfully conducted the Tier 2 examination from 2 March 2023 to 7 March 2023. The answer key for this Tier 2 examination has already been released by the SSC on March 14, 2023. Based on this, it is certain that the SSC will declare the Tier 2 result shortly. Candidates are eagerly waiting for their results so as to appear in further processes. 

The SSC CGL 2022 examination was conducted to recruit candidates for various Group B and C posts in the Government of India, like Junior Statistical officer, CBI Inspector, Income Tax Inspector, and many more. Every year lakhs of candidates appear for this government exam because of the promising career this exam offers. 3,86,652 aspirants qualified for the SSC CGL 2022 Tier 2 exam based on the Tier 1 exam result. The SSC has notified 37,409 vacancies for the SSC CGL 2022 examination. 

The SSC CGL 2022 examination consisted of two phases: Tier I and Tier II. Tier I was only qualifying in nature and candidates scoring a minimum cut-off were declared eligible for the Tier 2 exam. The SSC CGL 2022 Tier 2 examination is the crucial phase of this examination as the merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained in the Tier 2 exam. SSC has now removed the Tier 3 exam and has made Tier 1 only qualifying in nature. The SSC will declare the SSC CGL 2022 Tier 2 result on its official website. Along with the result, the SSC will also publish the cut-off marks for Tier 2 for various categories.

How To View SSC CGL Tier 2 result Once Declared

The SSC will publish the official result, cut-off marks and merit list of the SSC CGL 2022 examination on its official page. It is to be noted that the final merit list will be prepared after the normalization of marks. Normalization happens because exams are conducted in different shifts and every shift has a varying difficulty level of question papers. So, for bringing equality in the selection process, the normalization of marks is done. The step-wise procedures to view the SSC CGL Tier 2 result are listed below:

  1. Visit the official website of the SSC
  2. Go to the Result section on the Home page and press the CGL tab in orange colour
  3. Click on the Combined Graduate Level Examination Result link available there
  4. A pdf containing Roll Numbers and Names of successful candidates will be displayed on the screen
  5. Download the PDF on your device
  6. Open the file and press CTRL+F to enter your name or roll number for search
  7. If your name and roll number are present in the pdf or appears in the search, that means you have qualified in the SSC CGL Tier 2 examination
