Age Limit for SSC Recruitment 2024:

The age restrictions for SSC Recruitment 2024 is mentioned below-

Sub Inspector, Assistant Section Officer (Central Secretariat Service), Assistant Section
Officer (Ministry of Railways ), Assistant Section Officer (Ministry of External Affairs) and Assistant Section Officer (AFHQ)-

Junior Statistical Officer- 

• The minimum age limit is 18 years.

Auditor, Accountant/ Junior Accountant, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant, Senior Secretariat Assistant/ Upper Division Clerks, Senior Administrative Assistant and Tax Assistant-

• The minimum age limit is 18 years.
• The maximum age limit is 27 years.

Executive Assistant, Research Assistant, Divisional Accountant, Sub-Inspector/ Junior Intelligence Officer and Assistant Section Officer (For all other department)-

• The minimum age limit is 18 years.
• The maximum age limit is 30 years.

Salary for SSC Recruitment 2024:

The salary offered to the selected candidate for SSC Recruitment 2024 is mentioned below-

Assistant Section Officer, Assistant Enforcement Officer, Inspector and Sub-Inspector-

• The selected candidate will be given a monthly salary in Level-7 i.e. between Rs. 44900 to 142400.

Assistant Section Officer (Other Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations), Executive Assistant, Research Assistant, Divisional Accountant, Sub-Inspector/ Junior Intelligence Officer and Junior Statistical Officer-

• The selected candidate will be given a monthly salary in Level-6 i.e. between Rs. 35400 to 112400.

Auditor and Accountant/ Junior Accountant-

• The selected candidate will be given a monthly salary in Level-5 i.e. between Rs. 29200 to 92300.

Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant, Senior Secretariat Assistant/ Upper Division Clerks, Senior Administrative Assistant and Tax Assistant-

• The selected candidate will be given a monthly salary in Level-4 i.e. between Rs. 25500 to 81100.

Qualification for SSC Recruitment 2024:

Junior Statistical Officer:

• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at the 12th standard level Or a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level.

Statistical Investigator Grade-II-

• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects from a recognized University or Institute. The candidates must have studied Statistics as a subject in all three years or all the 6 semesters of the graduation course.

Research Assistant in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC):

• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute.
• Candidates must have a Minimum one-year research experience in any recognized university or recognized Research Institution.
• Candidates must have a degree in Law or Human Rights from a recognized university.

All Other Posts-

• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

Selection Procedure for SSC Recruitment 2024:

The selection of candidates for SSC Recruitment 2024 is based on exam. The details regarding the exam will be communicated later to the shortlisted applicants.

Tier-I-

• It will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions. The questions will be set both in English and Hindi except for English Comprehension.

Tier-II-

• It will include conducting of Paper-I and Paper-II in separate shift(s)/ day(s).
