SVPNPA Recruitment 2022: Application has been invited for the Reader in Behavioural Science Post at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy. The Post of Reader in Behavioural Science in the Pay band -3 Rs. 15600- Rs. 39100 plus Grade Pay of Rs. 6600 Pay Matrix Level -11 is vacant in this academy. The Classification of the Post under the General Central Service, Group A Gazetted Non- Ministerial and DA, HRA and Other Allowances as admissible under the Central Government orders from time to time. Deputation for this post as per the Central Government Orders from time to time.

Reader in Behavioural Science
Rs. 15600 – Rs. 39100
Master’s degree in psychology from a recognized university or equivalent.
07 years of teaching/research experience in the field of behavioral science of which at least 3 years should be in teaching.
Desirable
The Doctorate in the concerned subject from a recognized university or equivalent.
The Reader in Behavioural Science will be teaching Psychology and Behavioural Science related topics to IPS Probationers and other Senior Police officers attending services courses at the Academy. he or she will be the coordinator and supervisor for the behavioral and social sciences research at the Academy and police.
Period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization department of the central government shall ordinarily not exceed 3 years.
Note – The Maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceed 56 years as of the closing date of application.
