Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Recruitment 2022: Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission is seeking applications from interested and qualified only through online mode up to 13.01.2023 for direct appointment to the vacancies in the position of District Educational Officer (Group – I C Services) in the School Education Department included in the Tamil Nadu School Educational Service. There are a total of 11 vacancies for the Post. The selected candidates will be placed in Rs. 56900 – 209200 at Level- 23 of Pay Matrix 7th CPC.
Applicants should apply only through online mode on the Commission’s websites. ‘One Time Registration’ using Aadhaar is mandatory before applying for any post. Applicants should register only once in the One Time Registration by paying Rs. 150 as a registration fee. The candidates then may submit their applications using the One Time Registration ID and password registered by the applicant.
Applications are invited for the Post of District Educational Officer (Group – I C Services) in the School Education Department included in the Tamil Nadu School Educational Service. There are a total of 11 vacancies for the Post. The vacancies are further divided as below:
The candidates belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BC(OBCM)s, BCMs, and Destitute Widows of all categories – No age limit
The “Others” candidates i.e., applicants not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BC(OBCM)s, BCMs]
For Open Market – Should not have completed 32* Years.
For Teachers employed in recognized aided Secondary Schools and Higher Secondary Schools- Should not have completed 42 years.
For both, Open Market candidates and Teachers employed in recognized Aided Secondary schools and Higher Secondary Schools:
1. A Master’s Degree from any University recognized by the University Grants Commission in the State or a Degree of an equivalent standard in any one of the following subjects with not less than 50% of Marks in the Master’s Degree Examination in any one of the following subjects:
Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Economics, Geography, History, Commerce, Tamil and English
(Provided that a candidate possessing a Degree of M.A or M.Sc. or an equivalent degree awarded under the grading system shall not be considered eligible for appointment unless he has obtained the said degree with an “O” or “A” or “B” Grade.)
AND
2. B.T. or B.Ed. Degree of any recognized university in the State or a degree of equivalent standard.
AND
3. Must have studied Tamil under Part-I or Part-II of the Intermediate Or PreUniversity course Or Higher Secondary Course.
Only for recruitment to the vacancies which are to be filled from among the Teachers employed in recognized aided Secondary and Higher Secondary Schools having teaching experience in a recognized School for a total period of not less than 12 years after acquiring the degree of B.T or B.Ed or its equivalent qualifications.
As per TNPSC Official Recruitment Notification the selected candidates will be placed in Rs. 56900 – 209200 at Level- 23 of Pay Matrix 7th CPC.
a) For One-Time Registration, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (M) Department, dated 01.03.2017) Applicants who have already registered in the One-Time Registration system and are within the validity period of 5 years are exempted. – Rs. 150
b) The Preliminary Examination fee should be paid at the time of submitting the online application for this recruitment unless an exemption of fee is claimed. – Rs. 100
c) Main Written Examination Fee The candidates who have not claimed fee exemption and paid the fee of Rs. 100 towards the Preliminary Examination of this recruitment, have to pay the Main Written Examination fee of Rs. 200 if they are shortlisted for the Main Written Examination based on the results of the Preliminary Examination and on receipt of such intimation from Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission. – Rs. 200
