TPSC Recruitment 2022 for 18 Vacancies: Check Posts, Qualifications, and How to Apply
TPSC Recruitment 2022: The Tripura Public Service Commission, also known as TPSC, has invited online applications from bonafide citizens of India for the selection of candidates for recruitment to the Post of Assistant Professor, in different super-specialty disciplines of A.G.M.C. & G.B. Pant Hospital against Direct Recruitment. There are a total of 18 vacancies for the Posts. The upper age limit for the candidate shall be 50 years as on 27/12/2022.
The selected candidate will be placed in the scale of Revised Pay of Rs. 15600 – 39100(Pre Revised) Academic Grade Pay Rs. 7000 and after five years Rs. 8000 Special allowances Rs. 8000 pm, other allowances, as admissible (Revised) and at Academic level – 12 of UGC, Entry Pay Rs. 79300 with the proposal of 03 (three) additional increments, i. e., with Entry Pay Rs. 87200. The selection procedure will be governed by the notified process of the post of Assistant Professor Super Specialty faculty as per the TPSC Recruitment 2022 Notification.
Before applying for the post, an applicant shall register his/her bio-data particulars through Time Profile Registration (OTPR) on the Commission’s Website. Once the applicant registers his/her particulars, a User ID is generated and sent to his/her registered mobile number and email ID. Applicants need to apply for the post using the OTPR User ID through the Commission’s website. The application fees for Group-A Posts will be Rs. 400 (Rupees Four Hundred) and for General Candidates and Rs. 350 (Rupees three Hundred and Fifty) only for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates. The recruitment fee so deposited is non-refundable. SC/ST Candidates of other States are not recognized by the Govt. of Tripura. The online Application Portal will be available on Commission’s website from 12/12/2022 to 27/12/2022 (5.30 PM) as per the TPSC Recruitment 2022 Notification.
The last date for submission of the online application is 27.12.2022 (up to 5.30 PM). The application (s) received after the closing date will not be entertained.

Academic Qualifications: A Post-doctoral qualification DM/M.Ch/DNB equated to DM /M.Ch-(for disciplines under the super Specialties group as per Teachers Eligibility Qualifications (TEQ) Medical Institutions Regulations, 2022 of NMC in the concerned subject and as amended by NMC from time to time.
Teaching and Research Experience: Special training for three years in the respective Super Specialty subject in a teaching Institution/ Centre of Excellence with dedicated service in that specialty as amended by NMC from time to time.
Desirable: Knowledge of Bengali or Kok-borok.
The upper age limit for the candidate shall be 50 years as on 27/12/2022. Relaxable by 5 (five) years in case of SC/ST/PH candidates and Government servants. However, the SC/ST/Govt. Service candidates. And as amended by NMC from time to time for both the above categories. However, the SC/ ST/ Govt. The servant will not get the further relaxation of 5 (five) years over and above the relaxation of 5 (five) years which they are already entitled to get as SC/ ST candidates.
