Post Name and Vacancies for TRAI Recruitment 2023:

The Telecom Regulatory Authority (TRAI) is seeking suitably qualified individuals to occupy positions: Consultant (Retired Govt. Servants)-Grade II, Consultant Grade-I (Legal) and Consultant Grade I (Copy Editor) The position will be at the TRAI Headquarters in New Delhi. There are 03 Vacancies for the assigned position.

Qualification for TRAI Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for the TRAI Recruitment 2023 must have the following qualifications.

Consultant (Retired Govt. Servants)-Grade-II

• Candidate should have a Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / Economics / Science / Commerce /Arts / Law from a recognized University/institution or, Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India / Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.

Consultant Grade-I (Legal)

• Candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Law from any recognized institution.

Desirable
Applicant must have a Post Graduate Degree in Law from any recognized institution

Consultant Grade-I (Copy Editor)

• Candidate should have a Masters in English Language and Literature/ Humanities/ Social Sciences from a recognized university.

Tenure for TRAI Recruitment 2023:

The candidate would be appointed for a term of one year, as stated in the official TRAI Recruitment 2023 notification. Additional extension contingent on TRAI requirements and consultant performance.

Experience for TRAI Recruitment 2023:

The experience required for the above-mentioned post is given below.

Consultant (Retired Govt. Servants)-Grade-II

• An officer retired from a Centre/State Ministry/ Department/Organization/Autonomous Body/Statutory Body/PSU should preferably have experience of working in the field of the broadcasting sector and should have worked on a post equivalent to the post of Under Secretary or equivalent and above in Centre/State Ministry/ Department/Organization/ Autonomous Body/Statutory Body/PSU in pay level 11-13 in the pay matrix under 7th CPC or equivalent pay scale.
  OR
• An officer retired from a Centre/State Ministry/Department/Organization/Autonomous Body/Statutory Body/PSU should have at least 3 years of experience as a Section Officer or on an equivalent post preferably having experience of working in the field of broadcasting sector.

Consultant Grade-I (Legal)

• Candidate should have at least three years of experience in drafting, handling briefs, briefing Senior Counsel and attending and arguing before different Courts, including experience in legal research work.
• Candidate should have a working knowledge of Computers and be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
• Applicant must have Proficiency and working knowledge of Legal Software such as SCConline, Manupatra etc. for collecting and collating judgments of different Courts of Law on a given subject.

Desirable

Experience in Telecom and Broadcasting regulatory matters.

Consultant Grade-I (Copy Editor)

• Candidate should have at least three years of experience preferably within a publishing environment.

Salary for TRAI Recruitment 2023:

The official TRAI Recruitment 2023 announcement states that the selected candidate will receive a monthly pay scale ranging from Rs. 65000 to Rs. 100000,per month plus Transport Allowance Rs.7200 (Fixed) per month.

Selection Procedure for TRAI Recruitment 2023:

Candidate will be selected on the basis of their performance in an Interview, where shortlisted applicant will be called for an Interview.

Age Limit for TRAI Recruitment 2023:

The maximum age range for the aforementioned post is 45 to 63 years old, according to the official TRAI Recruitment 2023 announcement.
