Job Description:

Unacademy is hiring Senior Video Editors to join the Unacademy Media team. An ideal candidate would be one with experience in editing fun video content/shorts/reels for social media platforms. Should have interest and flair in the domain and should be able to function well in a fast-paced environment. Should be up to date with current video trends, and always strive towards great presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Proficient in all editing softwares – Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Audition

2. Should have working knowledge of color correction, title animation and basic sound design.

3. Should have an interest in creating fun, upbeat, trendy shorts/reels/videos and the capability to take lead and produce content daily.

4. Should be up to date with trending content on social media and be proficient in integrating the same in our daily content.

5. Raise the bar creatively, delivering ever-better, best-in-class promotional materials that surprise and delight our global customers.

6. Insist on the highest standards, meeting and exceeding marketing objectives through compelling and innovative video creatives.

7. Tackle problems within a team setting, or individually.

8. Work under pressure and within tight deadlines on multiple concurrent projects while being flexible to changing business and technical conditions.

9. Edit in both a supervised and unsupervised capacity.

10. Organized in thought and in folder management.

11. Should be able to work across teams/projects efficiently.

12. An interest in production – ability to shoot on-location is a plus.
