Update on AATO Display on NIC e-Invoice Portal From September 2025

The Annual Aggregate Turnover (AATO) is the aggregate turnover value of all taxable supplies (except the inward supplies on which tax is payable by a person on an RCM basis), exempt supplies, exports of goods and services, or both the interstate supplies of a business having the same Permanent Account Number (PAN). It is used to check whether the taxpayer is required to obtain the GST registration or not.

Starting from September 1, 2025, the Aggregate Annual Turnover (AATO) shown on the NIC e-Invoice Portals at einvoice1.gst.gov.in and einvoice2.gst.gov.in will be updated to match the turnover data calculated from the GST system, as per a recent GST advisory.

The taxpayers are advised to check if there is any error or mismatch in their AATO shown on the IRP portal after 1st September 2025. On finding any mismatch in AATO on the IRP portal, you can report it by either raising a ticket on the GST Grievance Redressal Portal or by reaching out to the GST Helpdesk.
