Required Qualifications for UPPSC Recruitment 2024:

For Distt. Horticulture Officer. Group–2, Grade–1

• The candidate should have B.Sc. (Agriculture)/B.Sc. (Horticulture) degree from a recognised University or Institute.
  Preferential:–
• The candidate should have M.Sc. (Agriculture) degree in Horticulture/Fruits/ Vegetable/Floriculture from a recognised university or Institute.
• The candidate should have Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period or two years, or
• The candidate should have Obtained a ‘B’ certificate of National Cadet corps.

For Principal State Food Science Training Center/Food Processing Officer, Group–2-

• The candidate should have B.Sc. (with Chemistry as a subject) from a recognised University or institute or B.Sc. (Agriculture) from a recognised University or institute followed by two years Post-graduate Associate Course in Fruit and Vegetable Technology from Government Food Processing and Technology Institute, Lucknow or any other recognised institute, or M.Sc. (Food Technology)/M.Sc. (Food preservation)/M.Sc. (Food Science) from a recognised University or institute.

Preferential–-

• The candidate should have Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or
• The candidate should have Obtained a ‘B’ certificate of National Cadet corps.

For U.P. Agriculture Services Group ‘b’, Grade–2 (Development Branch)-

• The candidate should have Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture from a University established by law in India or a qualification recognised by Government as equivalent thereto.
• The candidate should have Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years, or.
• The candidate should have Obtained a ‘B’ certificate of National Cadet corps.
