UPSC IAS Prelims 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is going to conduct the Civil Services Examination Prelims (CSE Prelims) 2024 Exam. The UPSC IAS Prelims 2024 Exam will be conducted tomorrow, June 16, 2024. The exam will be of two shifts: the first shift exam will be held from 9:30 am to 11:30 am for general studies paper 1 and the second shift from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm for general studies paper 2 (CSAT). There will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), paper 1 will contain 100 questions and paper 2 will have 80 questions, and both will be for 200 marks each.

The admit card for the UPSC IAS Prelims 2024 Exam was issued on June 7, 2024. The admit card was available at the official website, i.e., upsc.gov.in. It is compulsory to carry the admit card along with a valid photo ID proof like an Aadhaar card, driving licence, voter identity card, PAN card, passport, etc anything to the exam centre. Candidates have to follow some rules and regulations that are guidelines for the UPSC IAS Prelims 2024 Exam to maintain decorum during the exam without any hassle.

  • Candidates should carry a printout of their UPSC IAS Prelims 2024 e-admit cards and check it properly to ensure no conflict.
  • Candidates should arrive at the exam hall at least 60 minutes before the reporting time to avoid the last minute hassle.
  • Candidates are not allowed to carry personal belongings or electronics into the exam hall. If such devices or items are found, their exam will be cancelled.
  • It should be noted that any mistakes while filling out the OMR sheet, especially regarding the roll number and test booklet series code will result in the rejection of answer sheet.
  • Only answers marked with a black ballpoint pen will be evaluated.
