Post Name and Vacancy for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

As per the UPSC Recruitment 2023, applications are invited for the Post of ASO Level Consultant Position from eligible candidates. There are a total of 27 vacancies available for the post as of now.

Age Limit for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

As per the UPSC Recruitment 2023 Notification, the age of the candidate to be eligible to apply for the post shall be below 62 years as on 01.02.2023.

Eligibility for UPSC Recruitment 2023:

The eligible candidate should hold the following qualifications to be eligible to apply for the given post:

I) have retired as ASO or equivalent level from any Ministry/Department or its attached or subordinate offices of the Central Government

II) have sound knowledge of Service Rules, Regulations, Noting, and Drafting

III) have the Working Knowledge of Computer Applications required in the day-to-day functioning of the office.

Remuneration under UPSC Recruitment 2023

The Remuneration payable to the ASO Level Consultant shall be calculated by deducting the Pension from the Basic Pay drawn at the time of Retirement.

Selection Process under UPSC Recruitment 2023:

The candidates will be selected through Viva-voce/ Personal Interaction/Interviews. The Candidates to be called in for an Interview will be shortlisted through scrutiny of the applications received.

Engagement of the candidates will be purely on a contract basis. Applications received in response to this advertisement will be shortlisted on the basis of the applicant’s experience and qualifications. The ASO Level Consultants will be selected from shortlisted candidates.
