Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences Recruitment 2022: The Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences (formerly UP Rural Institute of Medical Sciences & Research) Saifai, Etawah has notified and is inviting applications from all categories of Indian citizens for the teaching posts of Faculty positions (Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor) in various departments and also Speech Therapist for hospital services at the University. There are 93 vacancies for the various posts in total.
The age of the candidate for the Post of Speech Therapist shall not be above 40 years, not above 55 years for Assistant Professor /Associate Professor as of 01-07-2022. There is no upper age limit for the Post of Professor, however, the retirement age is 65 years. The Maximum age will be calculated as on 01 July 2022. The last date for receipt of applications will be on or before 11.01.2023 as per the Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences Recruitment 2022 Notification.

The Name of the Department, Vacancy Details for the Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor as per the Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences Recruitment 2022 will be as given below:
The age limit for Speech Therapists shall not be above 40 years, not above 55 years for Assistant Professor /Associate Professor as of 01-07-2022 (Relaxation will be admissible as per U.P. Govt. Rules). There is no upper age limit for the Post of Professor, however, the retirement age is 65 years. The Maximum age will be calculated as on 01 July 2022.
1. For Assistant Professor
M.S/M.D or equivalent qualification as per N.M.C. or erstwhile MCI.
Three-year of teaching experience (post-MD/MS or equivalent qualification) in the subject in a recognized/approved/ permitted medical college/teaching institution as Senior Resident.
2. For Associate Professor
Four years of teaching experience in the subject in a recognized/approved/permitted Medical College/ teaching institution as an Assistant Professor with a total of six years of teaching experience (post-MD/MS or equivalent qualification) in the subject.
Publications as per latest N.M.C. norms.
3. For Speech Therapist
B.Sc. degree in speech and hearing from a recognized Institution /University. OR
Bachelor of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology, OR
Diploma in Hearing Language and Speech/Diploma in Audiology and Speech Therapy from a recognized Institution/University and 01-year experience in a related field.
The application forms may be downloaded from the university website. Application fee (non-refundable) of Rs. 1000 (for Unreserved/EWS/OBC Category) and Rs. 500 (for SC/ST Category) is to be submitted as a demand draft in favor of “Finance Officer” UPUMS, Saifai, Etawah payable at Saifai. Candidates should write their names on the back side of the draft.
