Vacancy for Experienced General Manager at Swiggy

Overview:

Swiggy is hiring an experienced General Manager – Finance at their Bangalore location. The Controllership team is responsible right from recording and tracking of each financial level transactions to closure of books and reporting of financial transactions by preparing financial statements and accordingly providing commentary of financial outlook of the entity which broadly includes: A systematic and programmed monthly financial statement closure and reporting process, Liasioning with statutory auditors for timely completion of statutory audit, coordination with stakeholders as a facilitator to the audit team for providing input required for audit procedure.

What will you be doing:

Lead the finance controllership team of Swiggy diners (including Stepping out business)

Responsible for revenue and related cost assurance for all Swiggy diners and other marketplace business (Food, Instamart, genie, liquor etc).

Responsible for the overall Swiggy diners Revenue, cost and related receivable and payables, MIS & FS reporting.

Responsible for implementation and ensuring the adherence towards the ICOFR compliance with respect to Revenue and receivable function.

Responsible for setting up SOPs across the processes and sub functions and ensuring the timely adherence.

Lead the internal audit, statutory audit and co-ordinate for the confidential audit/ investigation relating to revenue and receivable function.

Support with respect to finance activities of various other business verticals from scratch to launch, such as finalizing appropriate business model, selecting suitable ERP system, setting up optimum processes etc.

Lead the stakeholder’s relationship with respect to launch of new business offerings, change in existing offers and assist in unblocking the finance and compliance road map.

Lead the finance automation charter for Swiggy diners as well as any new line of business with respect to core reporting, ensuring the compliance requirements, process efficiency, Rx experience etc.

Stakeholders for timely review and approval of new agreements/ arrangements.

Develop strong cross functional relationship with key business partners.

Pro-actively identify areas of opportunities for building efficiency in the business processes, accounting and reporting functions, increasing the supply KPIs.

Being a driving force and devising the right road map for the team, to unlock the potentials of individual members and mentoring for the future growth.

Reviews and approves financial statement note disclosures related to Swiggy diners, other marketplace (Food, stores, Instamart) as well as certain balances reported in the Statement of Financial Position and Statement of Cash flow

Responsible for the ongoing accounting, reconciliation related to trade receivables and Payables.

Qualifications for this Job:

8+ years of experience with expertise in Treasury, P2P Operations, Working Capital Management, Finance Operations.

Detailed knowledge of revenue assurance.

Demonstrated experience in identifying and implementing continuous improvement projects and tracking of the success.

Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
