Overview:

Credit Suisse is hiring an experienced Jun. Market Risk Manager at their Mumbai location. The candidate will be working with Global Market Risk Management team as an integrated part of the global function. The Role is with Market Risk Limits & Flags management team.

The complete details of this job are as follows:

What will you be doing:

Provide operational support to Risk Management and Front Office functions for the administration and maintenance of risk flags constraints.

Monitor and support in the timely closure of any pending flags workflows pending action from Risk Managers and/or Front Office.

Supporting the maintenance of the MR department’s governance, policies, procedures, and related documentation in relation to flags.

Ensure governance protocols are followed through by Risk Managers and Front Office for the continuing monitoring of risk flags constraints (including Counterparty Market Risk flags) along with proper documentation for inclusion in risk monitoring system.

Detailed regulatory & management reporting in relation to flags breaches, live flags along with relevant details on temporary increase, warning thresholds, breach remediation, etc.

Support Risk Managers in monitoring of utilization against the established flags thresholds, reporting flags utilizations to the relevant flag owners.

Ensure system workflows are compliant with policies and procedures, work closely with FLEX (Flags and Limit Excess Management System) IT to escalate system bugs.

Supporting FLEX infrastructure improvements in collaborations with FLEX IT support and CRO Change teams; understanding requirement from business and ensure timely implementations of those changes in the FLEX application.

Preparing the PowerPoint presentations to be used by senior management for meetings and committees.

Qualifications for this Job:

Bachelor’s degree is essential; MBA Finance or CA other advanced degree a plus.

2-3 years of Market Risk or Operations background is desirable in handling Limits & Governance.

Outstanding teamwork, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills – extensive collaboration with business partners across all geographies.

Outstanding skills in Microsoft Office – PowerPoint, Excel (Strong) & Word.

Proactive, flexibility, multitasking is must along with proven project management skills.

Result oriented, dedicated, hardworking and can work on own initiative whilst also working to deliver on time even while under pressure.

High level of integrity, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards.
