Visaka Industries Wins Rs 68.73 Crore Recovery After Court Upholds Cheque Execution Petition Against Hyderabad Cricket Association:

Visaka Industries has secured a major legal victory as the court allowed recovery of Rs 68.73 crore awarded in its long-running dispute with the Hyderabad Cricket Association.
Company Says Actions Likely to Have Positive Impact on Its Financials

Visaka Industries Limited has disclosed to the stock exchanges that the Honourable Principal Special Court in the Cadre of District Judge for Trial and Disposal of Commercial Disputes, Hyderabad, has allowed their cheque petition [Commercial Execution Application (CEA) No. 64 of 2026 in Cheque Execution Petition (CEP) No. 22 of 2025]. The petition was allowed on July 08, 2026.
On July 10, 2026, the company was awarded a sum of Rs 68.73 crore (including interest) by an arbitral tribunal in its favour. The apex court of India, i.e., the Supreme Court of India, had also sustained this decision. The company has been awarded this amount after a long-running legal dispute with the Hyderabad Cricket Association.
The company has clarified that the recovery of the awarded amount is likely to have a positive impact on its operational, financial, and business position.
Visaka Industries Limited has made the aforementioned disclosure in pursuance of Regulation 30 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, through an intimation dated July 10, 2026. The intimation has been addressed to the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange Limited (BSE).
As per the company, the present disclosure is in continuation of four earlier intimations dated September 29, 2023; June 26, 2025; October 07, 2025; and November 25, 2026.
