VRDE-DRDO Recruitment 2025: Vehicle Research and Development Establishment (VRDE), Ahmednagar, is premier laboratory under DRDO, is seeking applications from qualified, experienced and hardworking young and meritorious Indian nationals for the Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the disciplines of Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and Electrical Engineering. As listed in the official notification of VRDE-DRDO Recruitment 2025, there are a total of 11 vacancies available. In order to apply for the opportunity, candidates must hold a BE/B.Tech in the above disciplines in the first division from a recognized university with a valid GATE score as of the date of the interview Or ME/M.Tech from a recognized university in the above disciplines in the first division both at the Graduate and Post-graduate levels. The chosen applicant will be paid a monthly emoluments of Rs.37,000 pm plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) as admissible and will be placed at VRDE, PO; Vahannagar, Ahmednagar (Now Ahilyanagar) – 414 006 (Maharashtra).
Based on the official notification of VRDE-DRDO Recruitment 2025, the selected candidates for the post will be engaged for an initial period of two years, which may be extended for a further two-year period (one year at a time) subject to satisfactory performance to be assessed by the Review Committee. The upper age should be 28 years as on the date of interview. Candidates have also been provided relaxation in upper age, candidates belonging to the SC/ST category have been provided the age relaxation of five years, and those belonging to the OBC (non-creamy layer ) category have been provided the age relaxation of three years. Only Indian Nationals can apply. Candidates who are interested in working for the aforementioned fellowship may download the format of the application from the official website of DRDO and bring the same duly filled-in application along with the self-attested copies of all relevant documents to the walk-in-interview venue. Incomplete applications will be rejected during the screening for eligibility.
