a) A Degree in Textiles Technology from any recognized University or College or Institute, or a Diploma in Powerloom Technology from any Institute affiliated by the Government.
b) 06 (six) years practical experience in a responsible position in any Government Department or undertaking or reputed commercial concern dealing with Powerloom and Textile Industry.
c) Knowledge of Bengali or Nepali— speaking and writing.

Candidates belonging to General/ EWS/ OBC – Rs. 210/- (Rupees two hundred ten) only
S.C./S.T. candidates of West Bengal and Persons with disabilities (P.W.D.) having physical disabilities of 40% and above are not required to pay any fee. BC candidates of West Bengal are, however, required to pay the usual fee as aforesaid. NO EXEMPTION OF FEE IS AVAILABLE TO S.C./S.T. CANDIDATES OF OTHER STATES. No claim for refund of the fee will be entertained nor will it be held in reserve for any other examination.
