Educational/Professional Qualification for Western Railways Recruitment 2022:

For Specialists

i) Degree in medicine i.e., MBBS recognized by the Medical Council of India.

ii) A post Graduate qualification/DNB in the relevant subject/field recognized by the Medical Council of India/ State Medical Council.

iii) Three years of experience in Clinical work after Post graduation in the specialty concerned as on the date of interview is desirable.

For GDMO-

Degree in medicine i.e., MBBS recognized by the Medical Council of India.

Qualification Required for Western Railways Recruitment 2022:

Duration for Western Railways Recruitment 2022:

For GDMOs & Specialists from open market- The engagement will be offered purely on contract basis for a period of one year or less from the date of contract, which can be renewed as a fresh contract on year to-year basis, not extendable beyond 12 terms or till attaining the age of 65 years or till such time Doctors selected by UPSC become available, whichever is earlier.

For GDMOs & Specialists from Retired Doctors of Railways, State & Central Government- The engagement will be offered purely on contract basis for a period of one year or less from the date of contract, which can be renewed as a fresh contract on year to year basis, not extendable beyond 07 terms subject to attaining the age of 67 years or till such time Doctors selected by UPSC become available, whichever is earlier.
