What Is the WhatsApp-Based Tap2Invest Service Introduced by HDFC AMC?
HDFC Asset Management Company on April 2 launched Tap2Invest, a WhatsApp-based investment facility which enables the existing customers of HDFC Mutual Fund to invest in schemes with a seamless tap-based experience directly through the messaging app, the company said in a statement.
As per the AMC, unlike traditional WhatsApp-based services that rely on text messages, the new Tap2Invest facility offers a more intuitive, click-based interface, providing an experience similar to an investment app.
Along with end-to-end encryption, the facility also allows users to make payments through various payment options such as UPI autopay, net banking and other digital services.
Navneet Munot, the Managing Director and the CEO of HDFC Asset Management Company, explained that that the Tap2Invest simplifies mutual fund investments by giving a tap-based experience on WhatsApp, making it as easy as using an app. This enhances accessibility, especially for non-tech-savvy users, and ensures a hassle-free, streamlined investment process.
The existing KYC-verified investors of HDFC Mutual Funds can get more details by connecting on WhatsApp at +91-82706 82706.
