Zilingo fired Co Founder Ankiti Bose; reiterates BharatPe story

There have been numerous incidents of disagreement between the startup and the entrepreneur in recent years. The issue between BharatPe and Ashneer Grover was widely publicised earlier this year. After a series of issues, Singapore-based business Zilingo has fired its co-founder and CEO Ankiti Bose. Zilingo had already suspended Ankiti on April 12.

According to Zilingo, Ankiti has been shown the door due to financial issues. “Following the examination of an independent forensic firm engaged to examine financial irregularities, the company has decided to terminate the employment of Ankiti Bose,” the company stated in a statement. The corporation has the option of taking proper legal action in this case.

Ankiti responded on Instagram

Ankiti Bose responded to the company’s move with an Instagram post. ‘I was suspended for 51 days on the complaint of an unknown whistleblower,’ Ankiti alleges. Now I’ve been informed that my job will be terminated. Kroll has been directed to investigate the issue, thus I was suspended. I have not seen the Kroll or Deloitte reports, nor have I been given enough time to deliver the relevant documentation. Ankiti described it as a witch hunt and stated that she will seek legal redress in this situation.

Conflict between Corporation and Ankiti Grew this way

Zilingo is one of South-East Asia’s most well-known startup companies. For several days, Zilingo, the company’s board, and Ankiti Bose have been exchanging accusations and counter-allegations. The corporation accused Ankiti of financial irregularities, and Ankiti subsequently filed a harassment complaint against the board. Ankiti was first suspended from her position as CEO on March 11th, amid all of these concerns. Following that, on April 12, She was fired from the company. Ankita’s job has now been terminated.
