21 CBI Officials Honoured With President’s Medals for Distinguished and Meritorious Service on 80th Independence Day:

On this 80th Independence Day, 21 officials of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) have been awarded the President’s Medal for Distinguished Service (PSM) and the Medal for Meritorious Service (MSM).

A total of six CBI officials have been honoured with the President’s Medal for Distinguished Service, including Smt. Shobha Dutta, Assistant Inspector General of Police/SP (CBI, Complaint & Coordination Cell, New Delhi), Sh. Manoj Banerjee, Additional Superintendent of Police (CBI, BSFB, Kolkata), Smt. Ginni Rana, Additional Superintendent of Police (CBI Academy, Ghaziabad), Sh. Sanjay Kumar Samal, Deputy Superintendent of Police (CBI, ACB, Visakhapatnam), Sh. Ramesh Chand, Assistant Sub-Inspector (CBI, Head Office, New Delhi) and Sh. Madan Lal Dhiman, Assistant Sub-Inspector (CBI, IPCU, New Delhi).

Fifteen CBI officials have been honoured with the Medal for Meritorious Service, and their names are: Sh. Brijesh Singh, Deputy Legal Advisor (CBI, ACB, Lucknow), Smt. Girish Joshi, Senior System Analyst (CBI, TAFSU, Mumbai), Sh. Manoj Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police (CBI, ACB, Delhi), Sh. Om Prakash Chandra, Deputy Superintendent of Police (CBI, SCB, Kolkata), Sh. Zahir Akhtar Ansari, Deputy Superintendent of Police (CBI, ACB, Ghaziabad), Sh. Ashish Anand, Deputy Superintendent of Police (CBI, Complaint & Coordination Cell, New Delhi), Smt. Sarita Yadav, Inspector (CBI, AC-II, New Delhi), Sh. Roshan Kumar, Sub-Inspector (CBI, SU, New Delhi), Sh. Dilbar Singh Bisht, Assistant Sub-Inspector (CBI, SC-I, New Delhi), Sh. Balkar Singh, Head Constable (CBI, ACB, Chandigarh), Sh. Govind Singh Bisht, Head Constable (CBI, ACB, Lucknow), Sh. Kamlesh Kumar Gurjar, Head Constable (CBI, ACB, Jaipur), Sh. Pal Pandian R, Constable (CBI, ACB, Madurai), Sh. Ajay Kumar Singh, Constable (CBI, ACB, Patna) and Sh. Kalyanadurgam Samiullah, Constable (CBI, ACB, Bangalore).

These medals are distributed every year on Independence Day to the officials to recognise their outstanding service, professionalism and dedication in working with the government for the country.
