Overview:

Lenovo is looking for an experienced Manager, Production Planning And Material Management at their Gurgaon location.

Roles and responsibilities:

The ideal candidate should be able to:

• Expertized in end-to-end supply chain process (Material Planning, Purchasing,
• Production planning and execution, Order fulfillment)
• This includes the creation and management of Demand Forecasting, Purchase Order
• Releases, Supply planning, Inventory Models, NPI, Capacity Planning, Production order release, and execution management, Customer order management & execution, E&O management, logistics (Domestic and International)
• Confirming Order deliveries, based on the agreed performance of production lines
• Resolve imbalances between Manufacturing plans and required resources and achieve optimal stock levels, delivery capability, and consistent utilization of production capacity

Collaborate with regions and global teams to create/enhance business processes.

• Contributes to projects with complex analyses and assists in developing recommendations. Regular reviews of business metrics and driving actions to meet/exceed goals
• Coordinate with Production, Quality & Purchase departments on the distribution of
• Customer requirements & set priorities to ensure a smooth Supply chain
• Identify cost drivers within supply chain processes, and initiate cost-saving measures.
• Work independently to manage multiple projects at once while ensuring deadlines are met and data output is accurate and appropriate for the business. Must also be able to deal with ambiguity and make independent decisions about what data and approach is best for the task at hand

Eligibility:

• Bachelor’s in engineering, Masters in Supply chain Management/ Logistics or equivalent educational background with 15-20 years of experience
• A structured and persistent way of working and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• A proactive and innovative mindset as well as a personal drive
• Hands-on experience with Material Planning & control, Inventory management, production planning and control, order fulfillment, E&O Management
• Good IT skills specialized in SAP module – MM, PP, WM and exposure to PLM (Product
• Life cycle Management), Advanced knowledge in Excel, Tableau
• Language Skill: Fluent in English and Hindi
• Management Experience in EMS or Contract Manufacturing is an advantage
