Name of the Post-  Tourist information Officer (TIO)

Department: Department of Tourism, Govt. of India

Pay Scale –Level-2- (Rs.9300 – 34800 1 Grade Pay Rs.4200/Group – ‘B’ Non-Gazetted)

Educational Qualification

• Minimum educational qualification shall be Diploma in Travel Tourism or Diploma in Hotel Management from a recognized institution.
• However, one who have appeared or appearing in the final year/semester examination shall also be eligible to apply subject to production of original certificate/Mark sheet at the time of Viva voice/interview.

Age Limit:

• Age as on 27-07-2022 Not less than 18 years and more than 32 years as on 21 July 2022.
• However, the Upper Age Limit is relaxable by 5 years for APST and another 5 years relaxation for regular employees working under Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh.
• For APST PwD candidates, upper age limit will be relaxed for 15 years.

• Candidates can only apply through Online mode by visiting official APPSC website www. appsc.gov.in.
• One Time Registration on Commission’s Website is mandatory. (Once registered, all future applications for any post/vacancy can be submitted using Login ID and Password).
• Submit only one application.
• In case of more than one application, application with the higher RID only will be valid.
• Fee has to be paid separately for each application and is nonrefundable.
