Overview:

OLX is hiring an experienced Platform Engineer at their Gurugra location. They are looking for a Platform Engineer- Frontend who would work on next-generation technologies that touch millions of customers worldwide.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Ideal Candidate should be Able to:

• You will be writing high-quality code using object oriented principles with 100% unit and integration tests.
• You will be Translating high level business problems into scalable design and code. Creating libraries for larger consumption, defining APIs and own end to end services.
• Mentoring junior engineers while optimizing application architectures for Docker/Kubernetes/AWS and using microservices best practices (logging, metrics, database etc)
• You will ensure platform and application readiness in terms of capacity, performance, monitoring and stability.
• You will influence product requirements and operational plans. Instill best practices for development and champion their adoption, while working with product managers to estimate and plan projects in the agile development framework.

Eligibility:

• Experience in designing, planning, implementing, maintaining and documenting reliable and scalable data infrastructure and data products in complex environments
• 3+ years of experience in developing applications at scale using Go as the main language
• Expertise on Container Native Technologies like Docker/Kubernetes
• Have expertise working with distributed and scalable solutions
• Have experience in testing automation (unit testing, end-to-end testing)
• Exposure to adjacent domains such as platforms, storage, databases, etc
• Working Knowledge (must): Server-side implementation for highly concurrent and responsive systems.
• Should be willing to work on different and new technologies.
