IOCL Recruitment 2022: Indian Oil Corporation Limited, also known as IOCL, is an oil and gas explorer and producer which has its headquarters located in New Delhi, India. It is an Indian Government owned Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) whose operations are supervised by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. The agency is ranked 212th on the Fortune Global 500 list of the world’s biggest corporations as of 2021. Founded on 30th June of the year 1959, 63 years ago, IOCL accounts for nearly half of India’s petroleum products market share, 35% of national refining capacity, and 71% of downstream sector pipelines through capacity.

As per the recent reports, IOCL has recorded a total number of 31,648 employees, out of which 2775 were women (8.77%), and its workforce includes 17,762 executives and 13,886 non-executives. Currently, the agency is looking to hire candidates for the vacant posts of Engineering Assistant (Mechanical), Engineering Assistant (Electrical), Engineering Assistant (T&I), Engineering Assistant (Operations), and Technical Attendant-1.

Eligibility Conditions Preferred for IOCL Recruitment 2022

Educational Qualifications for Engineering Assistant (Mechanical)

To apply for the mentioned post, candidates must hold a 3 years full-time diploma (or two years through lateral entry after ITI of minimum one-year duration) in any of the following disciplines of Engineering from a Govt. recognized Institute: Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering. 

For Engineering Assistant (Electrical)

The qualifications required to apply for the following post include a 3 years full-time Diploma (or two years through lateral entry after ITI of minimum one-year duration) in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a Govt. recognized institute or university. 

For Engineering Assistant (T&I)

Candidates who are willing to apply for the mentioned post must hold a 3 years full-time Diploma (or two years through lateral entry after ITI of a minimum one-year duration) in any of the disciplines including Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Electronics & Radio Communication Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Instrumentation & Process Control Engineering, or Electronics Engineering. 

For Engineering Assistant (Operations)

The qualifications required to apply for the following post include a 3-year full-time Diploma (or two years through lateral entry after ITI of minimum one-year duration) in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, Electronics & Radio Communication Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Instrumentation & Process Control Engineering, or Electronics Engineering. 

For Technical Attendant-1

Candidates must hold a Matric / 10th pass and ITI pass certificate issued from any recognized institution in the specified ITI Trades. Applicants must possess Trade Certificate / National Trade Certificate (NTC) issued by SCVT/NCVT. 

Age Limit

The age limit preferred to apply for any of the mentioned posts is 18 to 26 years as of the closing date of the receipt of the application.

Selection Procedure for IOCL Recruitment 2022

The selection of the candidates for the mentioned posts will be based on a written test and skill/proficiency/physical test (SPPT). skill/proficiency/physical test (SPPT) will be qualifying in nature only. To get recruited for the posts vacant in the ICOL recruitment 2022, candidates must score at least 40% of the marks on the written test after which he/she will be considered qualified for SPPT.
