NHAI Recruitment 2022: The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has invited applications from eligible candidates for the post of Manager (Technical) and Hindi Officer on a Deputation Basis. There are total 37 vacancies for the mentioned posts.

The posts carry all India service liability. Interested and eligible candidates, those who are willing to serve anywhere in India may only apply. The applicant who apply for the post with respect to the advertisement shall not be allowed to withdraw his/her candidature subsequently. The applicant selected by NHAI should not decline the offer of appointment. In case he/she declines the offer of appointment, his/her candidature shall not be considered for any further appointment by NHAI for a period of two years from the date of cancellation of the offer of appointment. In case of selection on a deputation basis, applicants who are more than 56 years of age as on the last date for receipt of applications need not apply. Those applicants who are due to retire from their parent cadre within two years, as on the closing date for receipt of applications also need not apply. The Last Date to Apply is 07.11.2022.

Deputation Basis

Eligibility Criteria for NHAI Recruitment 2022

I. Manager (Technical)

1. Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University / Institute;

2. At least three years’ experience in implementation of Infrastructure Sector Projects related to Highways, Roads and Bridges.

As per Deputation Basis:

(1) From officers under the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories or Universities or Recognized Research Institutions affiliated to Government of India or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi Government or Statutory or Autonomous Organizations and other Government Bodies:-

(i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the pay scale of Level 11 of Pay Matrix (Rs.67,700/- to 2,08,700/-) or equivalent in the parent cadre/ department;

Or

(ii) with four years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the posts in the pay scale of Level 10 of Pay Matrix (Rs.56,100-1,77,500) or equivalent in the parent cadre/ department;

Or

(iii) with 08 years’ regular service in the post in Pay Level 8 of Pay Matrix (Rs.47,600/- to 1,51,100/-) or equivalent in the parent Cadre/department.

(2) From officers of the state PWDs:-

(i) Holding B.Tech Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised University / Institute.

AND

(ii) Officers should have worked at least for 04 years at the level of AE/AEE/SDE and above on regular basis.

AND

(iii) The officer should have at least 02 years’ experience in projects related to Highways / Roads / Bridges.

II. Hindi Officer

1. Master’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree level;

OR

2. Master’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent in English with Hindi as a subject at the degree level;

OR

3. Master’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any subject with Hindi and English as subjects at the degree level;

OR

4. Master’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any subject with Hindi Medium and English as a subject at the degree level.

OR

5. Master’s degree of a recognized University or equivalent in any subject with English Medium and Hindi as a subject at the degree level.

Essential Experience

Five years’ experience of using/applying terminology (terminological work) in Hindi and translation work from English to Hindi or vice-a-versa, preferably of technical or scientific literature.

As per Deputation Basis:

By deputation from officers under the Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories or Universities or Recognized Research Institutions or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi Government or Statutory or Autonomous Organizations and other Government Bodies:-

(i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the pay scale of Pay Band-3 (Rs.15,600-39,100) with Grade Pay Rs.5400/- (pre-revised in CDA pattern, equivalent to Pay Level 10 of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC) or equivalent in IDA pattern in the parent cadre/ department;

(ii) with three years’ service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in posts in the Pay Band-2 (Rs.9300-34800) with Grade Pay Rs.4800/- (pre-revised in CDA pattern, equivalent to Pay Level 8 of Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC) or equivalent in IDA pattern in the parent cadre/ department;

For deputation: Not exceeding 56 years

Hindi Officers

For Deputation: Not exceeding 56 years

Pay Scale for NHAI Recruitment 2022

Manager (Technical)

Level-11 (Rs.67,700-2,08,700) / (pre-revised) PB-3 (Rs. 15,600-39,100) with Grade Pay of Rs. 6600/-

Hindi Officer

In PB-3, (Rs.15600-39100) with Grade Pay Rs.5400 [Pre-revised in CDA pattern, equivalent to Pay Level 10 of the Pay Matrix as per 7th CPC].
