ONGC Recruitment 2022: ONGC, which is basically abbreviated as the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited, is a Central Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) that functions under the ownership of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India. Founded on 14th August of the year 1956 by the Government of India, the corporation’s operations are overseen by the Ministry. ONGC is currently inviting candidates who are eligible for the vacant posts of ‘Junior Consultants,’ ‘Associate Consultants,’ and ‘Consultants.’
Interested candidates must know that the recruitment for the mentioned posts will be strictly on a contract basis which will be considered valid for a period of one year, which then may be extended further for another one year on successful performance and approval of the competent authority. The posting of the candidates will be in installations of Assam Asset for field duty in production, operation & maintenance in shifts. There are a total of 45 vacancies for the posts, out of which 25 are reserved in the Production discipline, 8 are reserved for Mechanical, and 2 are reserved in the instrumentation discipline.

To apply for any of the current vacant posts in the ONGC recruitment 2022, candidates must hold all the required educational qualifications and experience certificates. The candidates applying for the following post must be retired ONGC persons at the E1 to E6 level with at least 5 years of field experience. Also, the candidate will not be considered eligible for any other Benefits/Allowance/ Facilities/Incentive, etc., as admissible to regular/tenure employees of the Corporation.
The age limit preferred to apply for the posts vacant in the ONGC recruitment 2022 is up to 65 years as of the closing date of the receipt of applications.
The candidates selected for the post of Junior Consultant (E-1-E3) will be entitled to a monthly remuneration of Rs. 40,000/- pm. (inclusive of all) + Rs. 2000/- (Maximum) reimbursement for Communication facilities. For the Associate Consultants (E4/E5), the monthly remuneration will be Rs. 66,000/- pm. (inclusive of all) + Rs. 2000/- (Maximum) reimbursement for Communication facilities. For the post of consultant, Rs. 93,000/- pm. (inclusive of all) + Rs. 5000/- (Maximum) reimbursement for Communication facilities will be the month;y package for the selected candidates.
The candidates selected for the post will be asked to work in any installation for field operation duty /O&M Work in Assam Asset in Round Clock shift duty. Also, in the case of an emergency, he/she will have to work for extended hours/holidays to complete the work without any additional payment. The candidate will be eligible for one day of paid leave for every completed month of duty, and the leave will be calculated on a pro-rata basis and will lapse upon completion of tenure. The candidate who will get selected will be asked to sign an agreement/contract with ONGC for the prospective period.
