Punjab Police Recruitment 2022: The Punjab government of Bhagwant Mann plans to hire more people for the police force. On his Twitter page, CM Bhagwant Mann personally provided this information. Mann claimed that his government‘s top priority is giving young people jobs.

There is a golden opportunity for the youth of Punjab to get a job in the Police Department. The Bhagwant Mann government of the state has announced the exam dates for 2503 vacancies in the police department. Under this recruitment, eligible candidates will be recruited for the posts of constable, head constable and SI. Candidates will be selected on the basis of OMR based written test. Candidates who have submitted applications to take the test will show up on 14, 15, and 16 Oct.

According to CM Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab government recently sent appointment letters to 4374 constables. We will now conduct new police department recruitments. He declared that no recommendations or kickbacks would be accepted, and all hiring would be based solely on merit.

The Chief Minister said that the Aam Aadmi Government would add roughly 2500 more police officers to the Punjab Police as part of its continuous effort to give jobs to the state’s youngsters. These positions, according to him, comprise 560 sub inspector posts in the investigation, intelligence, district, and armed police cadres, 787 head constable positions in the investigation cadre, and 1156 constable positions.

Chief Minister Bhagwat Mann stated that his government was focusing on providing maximum employment to the youth in government and private sector. So far more than 17000 jobs appointment letters have been handed over to the youth and more appointment letters will be given in future. Bhagwant Mann said that merit would be the basis for the entire recruitment process.

A total of 2503 vacancies of constable, head constable, and sub-inspector will be filled by eligible candidates. Applications were requested for these positions in the month of August. For a very long time, the applicants awaited the recruiting exam. Following the Chief Minister’s statement, the exam admit card will soon be available on punjabpolice.gov.in.
