AAI Recruitment 2022: AAI, also abbreviated as the Airport Authority of India, is a Government of India Public Sector Enterprise, which is constituted by an Act of Parliament, and it is entrusted with the responsibility of creating, upgrading, maintaining, and managing civil aviation infrastructure both on the ground and air space in the country.

The organization recruits eligible candidates for vacant posts from time to time, and right now, the recruitment for the vacant posts of Senior Assistant (Official Language) (NE-06), Junior Assistant (Human Resources) (NE-04), Senior Assistant (Operations) (NE-06), Senior Assistant (Electronics) (NE-06), Senior Assistant ( Finance) (NE-06), and Junior Assistant (Fire Services) (NE-04) is ongoing in the department. 

Candidates who fulfill the preferred eligibility conditions and are domiciled in Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Goa will be able to apply for any of the vacant positions through an online application link hosted on the Career pages of the AAI Website i.e. https://www.aai.aero/en/careers/recruitment. The candidates will be posted at various airports in the above states in Western Region.

There are a total of 55 vacancies reserved for the vacant posts, out of which 6 are reserved for the Senior Assistant (Official Language) (NE-06) post, 7 are for Junior Assistant (Human Resources) (NE-04), 4 are reserved for the post of Senior Assistant (Operations) (NE-06), 3 are reserved for Senior Assistant (Electronics) (NE-06), 12 seats are vacant for the Senior Assistant ( Finance) (NE-06), and 23 are reserved for Junior Assistant (Fire Services) (NE-04) post. 

Educational Qualifications Required for the Posts in the AAI Recruitment 2022

For Senior Assistant (Official Language) (NE-06): Masters in Hindi with English as a subject at the Graduation level Or Masters in English with Hindi as a subject at the Graduation level Or Masters in any subject apart from Hindi/English from a recognized University along with Hindi and English as compulsory/optional subjects at graduation level.

For Junior Assistant (Human Resources) (NE-04): Graduate + 30/25 W.P.M. English/ Hindi Typing speed. 

For Senior Assistant (Operations) (NE-06): Graduate with possession of Light Motor Vehicle license valid as of 30.09.2022. A diploma in Management will be preferred.

For Senior Assistant (Electronics) (NE-06): Diploma in Electronics / Telecommunication / Radio Engineering. 

For Senior Assistant ( Finance) (NE-06): Graduate preferably B.Com with the Computer training course of 3 to 6 months.  

For Junior Assistant (Fire Services) (NE-04): 10+3 years’ approved regular Diploma in Mechanical/Automobile/Fire with minimum 50% marks oR 12th Pass (Regular Study) with 50% marks Or a. Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence Or Valid Medium Vehicle Licence issued at least one year before as on 30.09.2022.

Age Limit for the Posts in the AAI Recruitment 2022

The preferred age limit to apply for the vacant posts in the AAI Recruitment 2022 is between 18 to 30 years as of the closing date of the receipt of applications.

Remunerations for the Post in the AAI Recruitment 2022

Along with basic pay, Dearness Allowance, Perks @35% of Basic Pay, HRA and other benefits which include CPF, Gratuity, Social Security Scheme, Medical Benefits, etc. are admissible as per Airports Authority of India Rules & Regulations. 

Selection Criteria for the Posts in the AAI Recruitment 2022

The selection of the candidates for the vacant posts in the Airport Authority of India will be based on the Computer Based Test (CBT) and certificates/documents verification. The final selection will be based on the performance of the applicants.

Application Fee for the Posts in the AAI Recruitment 2022

For the candidates belonging to the General, OBC, and EWS categories, the amount of the application fee will be Rs. 1000, and for the female/SC/ST/ Person with Disabilities/ Ex-servicemen candidates/Apprentices who have completed Apprenticeship training in AAI, there will be no application fee.
