MOES Recruitment 2022: Ministry of Earth Sciences (MOES) is hiring qualified candidates for Scientist ‘G’ in Pay Level 14 of Pay Matrix (Rs144200- 218200) in India Meteorological Department ( IMO)( 03 posts on Direct Recruitment basis and 01 posts on Deputation basis). Interested candidates who have a minimum of 5 years experience in sea or inland vessels out of which at least 2 years as Boat Master will be given preference. The last date for submission of the online application is within 60 days from the publication of the official notification.

The post of Scientist ‘G’ at IMO is in the Pay Level 14 (Rs.144200 – 218200), and other allowances as admissible to Central Government employees.
1. The maximum age limit for appointment by Direct recruitment shall be “Not exceeding SO years” as on the last date of receipt of applications. (relaxable for Government servants up to Sears in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government).
2. The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall be “Not exceeding 56 years” as on the last date of receipt of applications.
Note: The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of applications from candidates in India.
Officers under the Central Govt. or State Govt. or Union Territory Administration/including their attached and subordinate offices or Universities or recognized research institutions or PSU or Semi Government or Statutory or Autonomous Organizations and other Non-Government bodies.
