GSL Recruitment 2022: Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL) is a Schedule ‘B’ Mini Ratna Category I Company engaged in designing and building Ships for the Indian Navy and Indian Coast Guard. GSL is inviting applications from Indian citizens for the post of Consultant (HVACR), Consultant (Commercial), Consultant (Frigates- B&D Spares), Consultant (Technical Services), Consultant (GES -Mechanical), Consultant (GES -Electrical), Consultant (SR -Electrical), Consultant (SR -Mechanical) and Consultant (Finance) on a contractual basis for a period of 1 year. There are a total of 11 vacancies for the post. The maximum age limit to apply for the post is 63 years. The monthly remuneration paid is Rs. 50000.

1-Post Name- Consultant (HVACR)
Qualification- Diploma in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning OR
Diploma in Production/Mechanical/Shipbuilding with certification course and Air Conditioning from a recognized institution/AICTE-approved institute.
Experience- The candidate should have a minimum of 10 years post-qualification working experience in the relevant field. The candidate should have knowledge of heat load calculation, Ventilation systems, Dust collectors / Fume extractors, and be Conversant with the ISHRAE / ASHRAE standards. Should have handled the Chiller plant, Chilled water system and its distribution, Cooling water, distribution, Cooling towers, Air Handling Units, and Air Distribution system. Should be well conversant with Building Automation Systems (BAS) which includes Energy management systems, Chiller plant management, Variable refrigerant flow (VRF), and Central monitoring of all elements of the BAS as sensors, contacts sensors, valves, and actuators. Hands-on experience in handling alarm monitoring and detection, scheduling operations, tracking faults, and managing preventive maintenance. Should be able to conduct training to GSL staff on the overall concept design, operational aspect (standard operating procedures), and maintenance (troubleshooting) aspect of the plant and sub-system. Should be able to guide, operate and interpret the BAS process management and handling of operational data, events alarm and all documentation required for safe operation.
2- Post Name- Consultant (Commercial)
Qualification- Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university/AICTE-approved institution.
Desirable- Post Graduate Degree/Diploma from a recognized University/AICTE-approved institution with specialization in materials management/ supply chain management/logistics management.
Essential Work Experience- The candidate should have a minimum of 15 years post-qualification experience in a large industry in the procurement function. Having knowledge of Procurement procedures including GFR 2017, DPP 2016, and Manual for Procurement of Goods 2017 with hands-on experience in Procurement (both from indigenous and global sources) – Finalization of Contracts, Sub Contracts, and Work Contracts.
Desirable Experience- Persons with experience in any Ship Yard/PSU/Navy/Coast Guard/Central/State Government in the above areas will be preferred.
3- Post Name- Consultant (Frigates- B&D Spares)
Qualification- Diploma in any technical stream from a recognized institution/AICTE-approved institution.
Essential Experience- The candidate should have a minimum of 10 years post-qualification working experience in defense services/reputed firms in the areas of Equipment manufacturing/production/design/maintenance/operation, upkeep, repair, or spare handling. The candidate should have knowledge of spares management and inventory management. The candidate should have handled software related to inventory management and should be well-versed in the codification process of the spares/ parts. Candidates having experience working in ILMS or inventory management software in use with the Indian Navy and ranging and scaling of long-term exploitation spares (B&D) will be preferred. Experience in inspection/QA-related billets will also be preferred.
Desirable Experience- Experience/knowledge of the spare management system of the Indian Navy. Experience of service in Quality Assurance organizations.
