Northern Railway Recruitment 2022: The Northern Railway is hiring eligible candidates for the recruitment of Contract Medical Practitioner (CMP) (GDMO/Specialist). There are only 3 vacancies for these posts. This engagement is purely on a contractual basis for 01 year. Further, the service of these doctors is also terminable before the expiry of the contract period. The service rendered as a contract doctor is a stop-gap arrangement. It will also not confer any right for automatic regularization/absorption in any circumstances, whatsoever it may be. The pay scale will be between 75000 – 105000 per month.

Candidates who meet the requirements and who meet the aforementioned terms and conditions should appear with their original certificates and a photocopy of the certificate on the scheduled date, time, and location.

The date for the walk-in interview is 29th November 2022. The reporting time is 11 am. The venue for the interview is – Chief Medical Superintendent, Divisional Railway Hospital, Northern Railway/DLI.

Nature of Engagement for Northern Railways Recruitment 2022

Eligibility Criteria for Northern Railway Recruitment 2022

Qualification

For GDMO

MBBD from a recognized university must have completed a rotating internship for one year and should be in possession of a valid registration certificate from any of the state medical councils.

For Specialist Surgeon

MBBS, M/DNB (General Surgery) from a recognized university and post-qualification experience for 3 years.

The candidate who fulfills the above terms and conditions and has requisite qualifications should present on the scheduled date, time, and venue with their original certificates and on the photocopy of the following certificate.

1. Photocopy of date of Birth Certificate.

2. Photocopy of Educational qualification certificates.

3. Photocopy of Experience certificate.

4. Registration with the medical council.

5. Two passport-size photographs.

Salary for Northern Railway Recruitment 2022

For GDMO

The pay scale is 75000 per month.

For Specialist Surgeon

The pay scale is 95000 per month ( 1st Year).

The pay scale is Specialist Surgeon 1,05,000 per month (2nd Year onwards).

Age Limit for Northern Railway Recruitment 2022

Not more than 50 Yrs. As of 01.12.2022 (05 Years age relaxation for SC/ST and 03 Years for OBC).

Not more than 65 Years for retired IRMs Officers/retried Govt. Medical Officers of State Govt/Central Govt.

Walk-in-interview, Weightage will be given to academic qualification and experience.

Contract Medical Practitioners can avail of free medical treatment for themselves only. Expenses on outstation journeys connected with contract work will be borne by the daily allowance at specified rates and will be admissible for such work.
