Doordarshan Kendra Recruitment 2022 for Various Posts: Check Posts, Eligibility and Other Details
Doordarshan Kendra Recruitment 2022: Doordarshan Kendra, Jammu is hiring candidates of Indian origin residing in Jammu for empanelment for the posts of News Reader, Copy editor, Website assistant, and Editorial Assistant. The age limit is between 21- 50. The pay scale will be between Rs. 1100 – Rs. 1600 per day.
The appointment of a casual category is not a regular post. Empaneled employees cannot request a permanent position. The number of assignments given to chosen candidates each month is capped at 7.
The eligible candidates may send their applications to the RNU Head, Doordarshan Kendra, Jammu, within one month of the date of the announcement in the format specified Attached as Annexure A in the below-given pdf, along with copies of the necessary documents, including certificates of educational qualifications, proofs of age, proofs of residence, experience certificates, etc. Published on the official website of Doordarshan Kendra. Applications that are incomplete or do not include the appropriate materials will be promptly rejected, and no further correspondence will be accepted. Canvassing of any kind will result in application rejection. No application fee is required. Tests and interviews won’t be compensated with TA or DA.

(i) Degree from a recognized University.

(iii) Camera-friendly face with a voice of a very good quality suited to Broadcasting.
(iv) Correct pronunciation, accent, and modulation.
(v) Knowledge of current regional/Indian and foreign affairs.
(vi) Acquaintance with names of important personalities in the Region/India and abroad.
(vii) Preferable Journalism background.
Professional
(i) Journalism background in the Field of academic or related areas.
(ii) Professional background in the field of academic or related areas.
(iii) Experience with Television/Radio Media.
Desirable
(i) Knowledge of English & Hindi.
(ii) Ability to interview people who matter in news.
(iii) Ability to write news stories and report events from the sports.
Copy Editor
Essential
(i)Degree from a recognized University.
(ii)Degree/Diploma in Journalism/Mass Communications from a Recognized University.
Desirable
(i) Acquaintance with national/international affairs.
(ii) Matriculate in the relevant language.
(ii) 3 years experience of work related to news in media organizations, preferably broadcasting.
Website Assistant
Essential
(i) Degree from a recognized University.
(ii) Degree/Diploma in Journalism/Mass Communications from a recognized University.
Desirable
(i) Exposure to audio-visual medium and proven aptitude in this field.
Editorial Assistant
Essential
(i) Degree from a recognized University.
(ii) Degree/Diploma in Journalism from a recognized university.
(iii) Minimum 3 years experience of work related to news broadcasting/news organization.
Desirable:
(i) Acquaintance with national/international affairs.
(ii) Matriculate in the relevant language.
News Reader/ News Anchor
Rs. 1100 per day per shift (For single bulletin including language bulletin)
Rs. 1250 For Fresher per day per shift (For Multiple bulletins in a shift)
Rs. 1600 For persons with 03years’ experience per day per shift(For Multiple bulletins in a shift)
Copy Editor
Rs. 1000 per shift per day
Website Assistant
Rs. 1000 per day per shift
Editorial Assistant
Rs. 1600 per day per shift
