TIFR Recruitment 2022: Tata Institute of Fundamental Research is a deemed university that awards master’s and doctoral degrees, as well as a National Centre of the Government of India under the Department of Atomic Energy. Walk in selection for engagement of Tradesman Trainees or Trade Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1961 is going in Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai. This selection is only for Apprenticeship training on a stipendiary basis. There are 03 vacancies for the posts. The age of the candidate should be below 28 years. It should not exceed July 1, 2022, for the given posts. The period of Training will be as per the guidelines of Apprentices Rules, 1991 and amendment rules. The monthly remuneration will be 12,500 p.m. Only fresh candidates will be considered for engagement.
All the eligible candidates are required to register in the apprenticeship official portal and bring a confirmation email, at the time of appearing for Walk-in-Selection, as per the instructions given at the end of this advertisement. Also, it is requested to note the details viz. Name, Date of birth, Father’s /Mother’s name, Email-ID, Mobile number, etc. till you complete your apprenticeship. Online application to be submitted on TIFR official website. Selection will be made on merit (ITl Marks). Eligible, registered, and interested candidates should bring the below-mentioned documents (Original and Photocopies) at the time of appearing for walk-in-selection. Eligible candidates are requested to bring their application form along with original & copies of certificates and appear for walk-in-selection on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, 1 Homi Bhabha Road, Navy Nagar, Colaba, Mumbai 400005.

The period of Training will be as per the guidelines of Apprentices Rules, 1991, and amendment rules. The engagement and training are strictly in compliance with the provisions of the Apprentices Act 1961 and the appointment will be temporary. The selected Candidate will not have any claim for any permanent or temporary appointment in the Institute either during or after the training period.

Turner
ITI i.e. National Trade Certificate (NTC) (aggregate of 60% marks) awarded by the National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) in the trade of Turner.
Carpenter
ITI i.e. National Trade Certificate (NTC) (aggregate of 60% marks) awarded by the National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) in the trade of Carpenter
Painter
ITI i.e. National Trade Certificate (NTC) (aggregate of 60% marks) awarded by the National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) in the trade of Painter
The monthly remuneration of the candidate will be 12,500 p.m.
