The selected candidates will be placed in Chennai or Hyderabad initially. The selected candidate will be placed in the Pay Scale MMGS II – 48,170 – 1,740 / 1 – 49,910 – 1,990 / 10 – 69,810. There are a total of 25 vacancies available for the Posts as per the Indian Overseas Bank Recruitment 2022 Notification.

The selected candidates will be placed in Chennai or Hyderabad initially. However, they are liable to be transferred/ posted, at the sole discretion of the Bank and as per its exigencies, at any of the Bank’s Branches/ Offices, anywhere in India from time to time and on such terms and conditions as may be decided by the Bank.

Qualifications and Experience for Indian Overseas Bank Recruitment 2022:

1. Manager – Business Analyst

Educational Qualification

a. Full-time B.E./ B.Tech. in Computer Science/IT/Electronics & Communications/ Electrical & Electronic Engineering AND

b. Full-Time M.B.A. (any specialization)

c. Full-Time Master’s in Business Analytics will be preferred Minimum of 60% marks in both B.E./ B. Tech and M.B.A.

Post-Qualification Work Experience:

a. Minimum 3 years of Experience in business analytics and strategic planning
b. Banking domain knowledge is a must.
c. Out of 3 years of experience, a minimum of 2 years of experience in working on different visualization tools like Tableau/Power BI/ GDS
d. Should have worked on different banking analytics use cases like portfolio deep dive, time series analysis, decision trees, etc.
e. Proficiency in Actionable Insights Generation
f. Ability to work in challenging & demanding timelines
g. Analytical thinker with strong problem-structuring and solving abilities
h. Complete expertise in breaking any problem with components that can be collaboratively solved
i. Data-driven decision-making and communicating the same to the stakeholders
j. Expertise in tracking and measuring campaign success
k. Should have worked on huge data sets with the ability to churn down for meaningful analysis
l. Experience in analytics companies is preferred.

2. Manager – Data Engineer

Educational Qualification

Full-Time B.E./ B.Tech/ M.E./ M.Tech in Computer Science/ IT/ Electronics & Communications/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering OR Post Graduate Diploma in Data Science/ Machine Learning and AI with a minimum of 60% marks.

Post-Qualification Work Experience:

a. Minimum 3 years of experience in building and supporting Data Warehouse and Data marts structures
b. Experience in the creation and deployment of scalable data pipelines for analytical needs
c. Worked on building Data warehouse and Data Lake
d. Knowledge of data management fundamentals and data storage principles
e. Experience in Database/ ETL Performance Tuning Skills and Airflows
f. Strong analytical thinking to tackle challenging engineering problems
g. Experience in MDM and data governance
h. Experience in Hadoop
i. Expertise in data architecture and data roadmap journey
j. Proficiency in how data is sourced, processed, organized, and used by designing instrumentation specs to capture the logging of new product features in easy-to-use, scalable data structures.

Pay Scale for Indian Overseas Bank Recruitment 2022:

The selected candidate will be placed in the pay scale MMGS II – 48,170 – 1,740 / 1 – 49,910 – 1,990 / 10 – 69,810.

Probation Period for Indian Overseas Bank Recruitment 2022:

Candidates selected will be on probation for a period of 2 years (active service) from the date of joining the Bank. Their confirmation in Bank’s service will be as determined by the Bank in terms of Officers’ Service Regulation (OSR).

Selection Process for Indian Overseas Bank Recruitment 2022:

Selection will be made based on an Online Examination followed by an Interview. Candidates qualifying in the Online Examination would be called for personal Interviews. Merely satisfying the eligibility norms does not entitle a candidate to be called for Online Examination or Interview.
