UPPSC Recruitment for 2382 Vacancies: Check Posts, Qualifications, and Other Details
UPPSC Recruitment: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has invited applications from eligible and interested candidates for the Posts of Medical Officer Grade-II (Level-2), Group ‘A’ Gazetted in the Medical & Health Service Department U.P. (Allopathy). AS per the UPPSC Recruitment Official Notification, there are a total of 2382 (Two Thousand Three Hundred Eighty-Two) vacancies that are to be filled through this recruitment procedure. The selected candidates will be placed in the Pay Scale – 67700-208700 Level – 11 as per the 7th CPC.
The age of the candidate shall be between 21 years to 40 years (Age relaxation is permissible as per the rule for the reserved category candidates). The date of calculation of age (except where indicated otherwise) is 1 July 2022. Candidates should check the UPPSC website if they are qualified and have the desire to apply for these positions. The candidate must carefully read the detailed advertisement and may apply for the post only when he/she is eligible for the concerned post. When the candidate clicks “ALL NOTIFICATIONS/ ADVERTISEMENTS” on the Commission’s website the Online advertisements shall be automatically displayed, wherein there shall Apply. Essential Qualifications:
(i) MBBS degree from a university recognized by the ‘Medical Council of India’ or an undergraduate medical degree recognized under ‘The National Medical Commission Act, 2019.’
and,
(ii) Postgraduate Degree (3 years) in the concerned Specialty of a university recognized by the ‘Medical Council of India’ or a Post-Graduate Medical degree recognized under ‘The National Medical Commission Act, 2019’,
or
(iii) Postgraduate Diploma (2 years) in the concerned Speciality of a university recognized by the Medical Council of India or a Post-Graduate medical diploma recognized under ‘The National Medical Commission Act, 2019’ and with at least one year of experience in the concerned Speciality after registration of the diploma in the concerned Medical Council.
Preferential Qualification:
(1) Who has served in the territorial army for a minimum period of two years.
(2) Who has obtained a “B” certificate from the National Cadet Corps.
(3) Possessing a post-graduate degree or diploma in Medicine or health Sciences recognized by the Medical Council of India.

In the ON-LINE Application process, a category-wise prescribed fee is to be deposited as per instructions provided in the UPPSC Recruitment 2022 Notification. The prescribed fee for different categories is as under:
(i) Unreserved Candidates – Exam fee Rs. 80 + On-line Economically processing fee is Rs. 25 Total = Weaker Sections/ Rs. 105 other BackwarClass
(ii) Scheduled Caste – Exam fee Rs. 40 + On-line Scheduled Tribe processing fee Rs. 25 Total = Rs. 65
(iii) Handicapped – Exam fee NIL + On-line processing fee Rs. 25 Total = Rs. 25
(iv) Ex-Servicemen – Exam fee Rs. 40 + On-line processing fee Rs. 25 Total = Rs. 65
