HPSC Recruitment 2022: The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has invited applications from eligible and interested candidates for the post of Veterinary Surgeon in the Animal Husbandry and diarying Department, Haryana. The candidates should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions for the post. The Commission takes up verification of eligibility conditions with reference to original documents only after the candidate has qualified for the interview. There are a total of 383 posts of Veterinary Surgeon (Group-B). The admit Card will be made available on the website for downloading by the candidates. The selected candidate will be placed in the pay scale of FPL 9 (53100 – 167800).
Candidates are required to apply online on the website. Detailed instructions for filling up online applications are available on the official website in HPSC Recruitment 2022 Notification. No other means/mode of submission of application will be accepted.
The Online Applications can be submitted up to the Closing Date 05.01.2023 till 11:55 PM.

The candidate should not be less than 22 years and not more than 42 years as on 11 July, preceding the last date of submission of the application to the Commission i.e., 01.07.2022.
The upper age limit for an applicant of any category (except Ex-servicemen) shall not exceed 52 years who is entitled to avail of the benefit of relaxation in age
The selected candidate will be placed in the pay scale of FPL 9 (53100 – 167800).
Essential Qualifications:
(i) Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from a recognized University or Institution;
(ii) Adequate Knowledge of Hindi.
(iii) Registered as Veterinary Practitioner with Haryana Veterinary Council or with any Veterinary Council in India or Indian Veterinary Council as required by Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984.
Preferential:
Ph.D. or Master of Veterinary Science in Animal Genetics and Breeding/ Veterinary Gynecology/ Animal Physiology or in any branch of Animal Husbandry/ Veterinary Science.
1. (i) For Male candidates of the General category including the Dependent Son of an Ex-Serviceman of Haryana.
(ii) For Male candidates of General and all reserved categories of other States. – Rs. 1000
2. (i) For all Female candidates of the General category including Female Dependent of ESM of Haryana only.
(ii) For Female candidates of General and all reserved categories of other States. – Rs. 250
3. (i) For Male & Female candidates of SC / BC-A / BC-B / ESM categories of Haryana only.
(ii) Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) – Rs. 250.
For all Persons with Disabilities category candidates (with at least 40% disability) of Haryana only – NIL.
