JIPMER Recruitment 2024: Online Registration Started For Senior Resident Post, Notification Out For 99 Vacancies
JIPMER Recruitment 2024: Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) is inviting online applications from interested and bright candidates for the post of Senior Residents in multiple departments. There are 99 vacancies open for JIPMER Recruitment 2024. The selected candidates will be given a monthly salary of Rs.67700 as per 7th CPC (Level 11, Cell 1) of the pay Matrix + NPA plus other usual Allowances as applicable (as admissible at Puducherry / Karaikal) per month in the first year (Total approximately Rs.130000). The maximum age limit is 45 years to apply for the given post. The application fee is Rs.1500 for UR/OBC/EWS candidates and Rs.1200 for SC/ST candidates. PwBD candidates do not need to pay the application fee.
Based on the official notification of JIPMER Recruitment 2024, the applicant should have an NMC/MCI-recognized postgraduate medical degree of MD/MS/DNB in the respective discipline and DCI-recognized postgraduate dental degree of MDS (Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge) from a recognized University/Institute. The candidates will be selected on the basis of a Computer Based Test followed by an interview. The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in CBT. The CBT will be held on 18.01.2025 between 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM. In accordance with the official notification of JIPMER Recruitment 2024, qualified and desirous candidates have to submit their online application through the official website of JIPMER on or before the last date. No other mode of application will be accepted. The online registration has already started from 16.12.2024.
As mentioned in the official notification of JIPMER Recruitment 2024, there are 99 vacant seats available for the post of Senior Residents in the following departments at JIPMER, Puducherry (including JIPMER, Karaikal vacancies).
** SRs to be recruited at JIPMER, Puducherry shall be posted at JIPMER, Karaikal Campus for a few months on a rotation basis.

The candidates who are selected for JIPMER Recruitment 2024 will be paid a Basic Pay of Rs.67700 per month as per 7th CPC (Level 11, Cell 1) of the pay Matrix + NPA plus other usual Allowances as applicable (as admissible at Puducherry / Karaikal) per month in the first year (Total approximately Rs.130000).
The selected candidates for JIPMER Recruitment 2024 will be engaged for a period of 03 years.
The candidates will be selected for JIPMER Recruitment 2024 on the basis of a Computer Based Test and interview. The candidates who qualify in the CBT will be called for the interview. The list of the shortlisted candidates will be uploaded on the official website of JIPMER. The Computer Based Test will be held on 18-01-2025 (Saturday) from 09:00 AM to 10:00 AM. The question Paper consists of 40 (Forty) Objective Type (Single Best response) questions from the concerned specialty and the total marks will be 80.
Merit List would be made category-wise based on the minimum eligibility score as given below:

As per the official notification of JIPMER Recruitment 2024, the CBT will be held in Chennai, Delhi/NCR, Kolkata, Mumbai and Puducherry. Applicants can choose for only 03 exam cities. The centre of Computer Based Test (CBT) once chosen and allotted will not be changed and any request in this regard will not be entertained.

The candidates who belong to UR/OBC/EWS categories have to pay Rs.1500 + Transaction charges as applicable and candidates who belong to SC/ST have to pay Rs.1200+Transaction Charges as applicable to complete the application process of JIPMER Recruitment 2024. The PwBD candidates are exempted from the payment of the application fee.
