ESIC Recruitment 2022: Check Posts, Qualification and Walk-in-Interview Details
ESIC Recruitment 2022: Employee’s State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) is inviting applications for the post of Specialist and Senior Resident MS, ESIC Model hospital Chandigarh. The appointment is for a period of 3 years and 1 year subject to renewal/extension every year or till the regular incumbent joins whichever is earlier. There are a total of 10 vacancies for ESIC recruitment 2022. The upper age limit to apply for Specialist is 67 years and for Senior Residents is 45 years. The monthly remuneration is different for each post which is given below in the article.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of interviews. The selection is subject to the candidates proving their medical fitness and verification of their character and antecedents. The walk-in interview will be held in the office of the Medical Superintendent, ESIC Model Hospital, Industrial Area Phase-II, Chandigarh at 9:00 am on 4th January 2023.
Note– Candidates who have already completed 3 years of Senior Residency will not be considered and need not apply.

The upper age limit to apply for ESIC recruitment is given below-
For Specialists– The upper age limit to apply for the post is 67 years.
For Senior Resident- The upper age limit to apply for the post is 45 years (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-serviceman as per rules).
For Specialists– The appointment is for a period of 3 years subject to renewal/extension every year or till
regular incumbent joins whichever is earlier.
For Senior Resident- The appointment is for a period of 3 years under the ESIC Residency Scheme subject to renewal/extension every year.
For Senior Resident against GDMO- The appointment is for a period of 1 year or till the regular incumbent joins whichever is earlier).
For Specialists– PG Degree/DNB or Diploma in concerned specialty from a recognized University with three (03) years experience after Post Graduate Degree/DNB and five (05) years experience after Diploma. Candidate must be registered with the Central/State Medical Council.
For Senior Resident- MBBS with Post Graduate degree/DNB or Diploma in concerned specialty from a recognized university. Candidate must be registered with the central/state medical council. Candidates possessing at least 2(Two) years of working experience after completing MBBS in concerned specialty/discipline may also appear in the walk- in- interview and shall be considered if no PG/Diploma candidate appears in the identical specialty.
For Senior Resident against GDMO- Post Graduate degree or MBBS Degree from a recognized university with at least two years working experience after MBBS. The background should be post-registration with Central/State Medical Council.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of interviews.
The selection is subject to the candidates proving their medical fitness and verification of their character and antecedents.
The Selected Candidates will have to furnish a DD/ Bankers Cheque for an amount of Rs. 50000 drawn in favor of ‘ESIC A/C no 1’ payable at Chandigarh, towards security deposit, which is refundable after completion of the contract. However, this amount will be appropriated towards administrative cost in case the candidate resigns/ terminates his/her contract within three months in case of Senior Residents (Against GDMO for one year contractual) and Nine months in case of Senior Residents on a contract basis for 3 years of the commencement of the contract with or without prior notice and without one month’s notice thereafter.
As per the official notification of ESIC recruitment 2022, interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply in the prescribed format given in the application form and send their duly filled-in application form along with one set of self-attested copies of the relevant documents.
Candidates should report to the office of the Medical Superintendent, ESIC Model Hospital, Industrial Area Phase-II, Chandigarh at 9:00 am on 4th January 2023.
