CSL Recruitment 2022: Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), a listed premier Miniratna Company of the Government of India, invites Online Applications from Indian citizens fulfilling eligibility requirements, for filling up the post of General Worker (Canteen) on a contract basis.
There are total 23 vacancies for CSL Recruitment. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for this post from 21.12.2022. As per CSL Recruitment 2022 Official Notification, the last date to apply for this job is 13.01.2023. The upper age limit prescribed for the post shall not exceed 30 years as on 13 January 2023, i.e. applicants should be born on or after 14 January 1993.
According to the official notification released by CSL Recruitment 2022, there are total 23 vacancies for the post of General Worker.
Applicant must have passed in VII std. Candidates who have a One-year Certificate Course in Food Production/ Food and Beverages Service from a Government Food Craft Institute/Two-year Vocational Certificate in Catering and Restaurant Management from an institution recognized by the Central/State Government and the knowledge of Malayalam will be desirable.
Candidate must have a minimum of three years’ experience in the preparation or serving of meals in a
Preparation and supply of food items, cleaning of utensils, furniture, building, etc., and other similar works in CSL Employees’ canteen/METI Mess/CSL Guest House/onboard vessels during sea trials/other departments of CSL. Any other duties assigned by your reporting Officer / Supervisors / Officials concerned.

The above post is temporary in nature and for a maximum period of three years subject to project requirements and individual performance.
The method of selection shall be through Written & Practical tests which shall be conducted out of 100 marks.
Application fee of ` 200/- (Non –refundable, plus bank charges extra) should be remitted using the Online payment options (Debit card/Credit card/Internet Banking/Wallets/ UPI, etc) which can be accessed through our Online application facility from 21 December 2022 to 13 January 2023. Applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Person with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) need not pay the application fee. They are exempted from payment of the application fee. All applicants for whom the fee is applicable i.e., except those belonging to SC/ST/PwBD should pay the application fee as stipulated above. It is important to note that their candidature shall be considered only on receipt of the application fee.
Applicants meeting the notified requirements may do the One-time Registration in the SAP Online portal and submit their application. The facility to submit their application can be accessed through our website of CSL, Kochi (Career page) from 21 December 2022 to 13 January 2023.
