IIT Recruitment 2023 for Project Research Associate: Check Post, Qualification and Other Details

IIT Recruitment 2023: Indian Institute of Technology Bombay is looking for the self motivated candidate for the post of Project Research Associate in World Class Research Laboratories in Advanced Manufacturing and Materials. There is only 01 vacancy for the given post. The appointment is for a period of 1 year and tenable only for the duration of the project. The post is reserved for OBC-NCL candidates. As per the official notification of IIT recruitment 2023, candidates will be given a monthly remuneration of between Rs. 33600 to Rs 67200 + Rs. 6250 Out Of Campus Allowance (if applicable).

Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of qualifications and experience. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. IIT Bombay is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the post of Project Research Associate. There is only 01 vacancy for the given post.

Project Name– Institute of Eminence (IOE Cell) project.

Job Responsibilities-

The candidate will provide support in setting up world class research labs in advanced manufacturing and materials. This will include , but not limited to, coordination with OEM/vendors , erection contractors and laboratory PIs,etc.
He/She will also support both the internal and external users of different facilities, once operations
start.
He will also be involved in facilities management.
He will support the research of the faculty and students associated with the Advanced
Manufacturing and Materials labs.

Remuneration for IIT Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for IIT recruitment 2023 will be given a monthly remuneration of between Rs. 33600 to Rs 67200 + Rs. 6250 Out Of Campus Allowance (if applicable).

Qualification for IIT Recruitment 2023:

MTech in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Production/Metallurgical Engineering/Materials Science.

Proven expertise in handling high end machines used in manufacturing or materials testing and characterization tools (UTM, Fatigue tester etc.)
Experience in optical and electron microscopy.
Good written and oral communication.

Desirable–

Exposure to XRD, texture and residual stress characterization.
Good computation skills.
