ICFRE Recruitment 2023: Vacancies 72, Check Post, Age, Qualification and How to Apply
ICFRE Recruitment 2023: The Indian Council of Forestry Research & Education (ICFRE), Uttarakhand’s Forest Research Institute (FRI), has issued an online call for applications from qualified individuals for a variety of Group “C” positions, including Steno Grade II, Lower Division Clerk, Forest Guard, Laboratory Technician, Technical Assistant, Driver, etc. There are a total of 72 vacancies. According to the official notification of ICFRE recruitment 2023, the minimum age requirement for applicants should be 18 years old, whereas the minimum age requirement for positions as technical assistants is 21 years old. Candidates for the positions of technician and technical assistant cannot be older than 30 years old. For other positions, the maximum age is 27 years old.
According to the official website, ICFRE Recruitment 2023 online registration period started on 20 December 2022 and will end on 19 January 2023. To avoid the last-minute hassle, it is advised that candidates apply for the various positions by 19 January 2023, or earlier.

Candidates must have these qualifications to apply for different positions-
For Technician (Field Lab Research):-
The candidate Should have 10+2 in Science with 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent from a recognized Board
For Technician (Maintenance):-
The candidate Should have a Matriculation from a recognized Board with ITI certificate in relevant trade or a Certificate course from a Govt. recognized Institute.
For Technical Assistant (Para Medical):-
The candidate Should have Bachelor’s degree in Science in the relevant field/ specialization or equivalent from a recognized University.
Or
03 years Diploma/ Degree in the relevant field from a recognized University/ Institution
Or
10+2 with Science from a recognized board + 2 years diploma in the relevant field from a recognized university institution.
For Lower Division Clerk (LDC):-
The candidate Should have a 12th-class certificate from a recognized Board.
Typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on a Computer
Or
Typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi on manual Type Writer
For Forest Guard:-
The candidate Should have 12 th Pass with Science from Government recognized Board.
For Steno Grade II:-
The candidate Should have:-
(i) 12th Class certificate from a recognized Board
(ii) Minimum speed of 80 words per minute in Stenography in English/ Hindi
(iii) Certificate Course in computer applications typing speed 5 key depression for each word.
For Store Keeper:-
The candidate Should have 120 passes from a recognized board.
For Driver (Ordinary Grade):-
The candidate Should have:-
Essential:
(i) Matriculation from a recognized board.
(ii) Possession of a valid driving license for Motor Cars.
(iii) Experience driving a Motor Car for 3 years or more,
Desirable: Knowledge of Motor Mechanism (the candidate should be able to remove minor defects in vehicles)
For Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS):-
The candidate Should have
Essential: 10th standard pass from recognized Board/ recognized school.
Desirable: 3 years or more experience in a relevant field
The three stages of selection for multiple posts are as follows:
Stage 1: A 100-point computer-based exam with a negative marking
Stage 2: A 50-mark descriptive test
Stage 3: Trade/Skill Test
According To the official notification of ICFRE Recruitment 2023 Candidates from the Gen/OBC/EWS category must pay an examination fee of Rs. 1500, while SC/ST/PWD/female candidates must pay Rs. 700.
