As per the official notification of Assam Police recruitment 2023, the vacancies are open for the posts of Cook, Barber, Water Carrier, Dhobi, Cobbler, Attendant, Grass Cutter, Syce, Gardener, Painter, Safai Karanchari, Electrician, Plumber, Carpenter, Mason and Tailor under various departments as given below-

Age Limit for Assam Police Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of Assam Police recruitment 2023, the age limit will be as given below-

• For the posts of Assam Commando Battalions- Candidates between the age of 18 to 25 can apply.
• For the posts of Assam Police, DGCD & CHGH AND F & ES- Candidates between the age of 18 to 40 can apply.

Relaxation will be given as below- 

• 5 (five) years in respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST (P) and ST(H).
• 3 (three) years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC

Remuneration for Assam Police Recruitment 2023:

Grade IV Staff in Assam Police-

• For Attendant– Rs. 12000- Rs. 52000, Grade Pay- 4400.
• For the post of Cook, Barber, Water Carrier, Dhobi, Cobbler, Grass Cutter & Syce- Rs. 12000- Rs. 52000, Grade Pay – 3900.

Grade IV Staff in Assam Commando Battalions-

• For the post of Cook, Water Carrier, Dhobi, Barber, Gardener, Painter, Safai Karmachari, Electrician, Plumber, Carpenter, Mason & Tailor- Rs. 12000- Rs. 52000, Grade Pay – 3900.

Grade IV Staff in DGCD & CGHG, ASSAM-

• For Cook, Dhobi, Barber, Clobber and Water Carrier- Rs. 12000-Rs. 52000, Grade Pay – 3900.

Fire & Emergency Services, ASSAM-

• For Cook- Rs. 12000-Rs. 52000, Grade Pay – 3900.

Qualification for Assam Police Recruitment 2023:

For Cook- 

Training Certificate issued by Sector Skill Council (SSC) will carry 5 marks or

Minimum 01 (one) year working experience certificate from a recognized/registered Cooking Institution or Hotel will carry 5 marks. The registered Cooking Institute/Hotel registration number must be reflected in the certificate.

For Water Carrier- 

Training Certificate issued by Sector Skill Council (SSC) will carry 5 marks.

For Dhobi- 

Training Certificate issued by Sector Skill Council (SSC) will carry 5 marks or

Minimum 01 (one) year experience certificate from a registered Laundry/Dry Cleaner will carry 5 marks. The registered Laundry/Dry Cleaner Registration Number must be reflected in the certificate.

For Barber- 

Training Certificate issued by Sector Skill Council (SSC) will carry 5 marks or

Minimum 01 (one) year experience certificate from a registered Saloon/Beauty Parlour will carry 5 marks. The registered Saloon/Parlour registration number must be reflected in the certificate.

How to Apply for Assam Police Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of Assam Police recruitment 2023, interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply online through the official website of Assam Police. The steps are given below-

Step 1- Register in the Portal using a valid mobile number.

Step 2- After successful registration candidates will get a Recruitment ID. Candidature of those candidates will be canceled who generate multiple recruitment IDs.

The last date for submitting the application form is 8th February 2023.
